Excuse me. Here's the bottom line. Their act is shocking. We still cannot, in 2012 with all our wisdom and stature, understand how they do what they do. That said, a different routine where the quick change is done a different way would help build off of their first routine. So Piers was correct, but his manner of saying it was brash and rude.

@ZuzanaRihova it's the construction of the costumes, mostly--they rip down, or open and fold around to show another costume underneath. I don't know all the specifics, but you can see little tells in the way she prepares before each change.
Piers might be a butthead about it, but he's right. How many times can you watch the exact same act without getting bored of it? Even if you don't know how it works, it doesn't become any more interesting after the first time.

The act is outstanding, in fact I've got the feeling it's too good for the show. That's what Piers was trying to say. These kinds of talent shows rely on discovering someone unknown and promising and make him a star. But that couple IS already famous, the ARE stars. They are so pro, none can stop them taking the prize. So they bring no drama to the show. The panel let them in, cause they are wonderful artists, but this show's logic is they'd eventually loose to a cabbage juggling little girl.

How do people disagree with Piers? He isn't telling them to completely change the concept of the routine, just to change it up! They are doing the exact choreography they did in the first episode. i agree with piers - it's the same routine with different music. it makes sense, they obviously can't just change immediately because i'm sure the clothes they have to use are very expensive to have made and the success of their act depends on the order that they go in (which is the same every time) - but no one is going to keep coming back to see the exact same routine done the exact same way each time.

Sure they do it with different clothes but they're using the same methods to change into them. If they did other methods to change into them then it would be different. But if both girls get in the second round and one of them sings the same song with only a few different moves and the other sings something completly different, I thing you get who is going to be chosen...
For one performance, those two magicians have no competition, but as a whole they refuse to evolve.

They sure did an amazing job, because as they said changing a song or a dance is way easier than changing a show like that, is not as easy as thy make it look, preparing an act like that can take a loooong time....
I really dont like piers morgan. however, on this one occasion, I'm inclined to agree. As David says, singers sing another song, dancers dance another dance, but if they did just one dance everytime you saw them, you would be bored. However, that point was lost by morgans stupidly rude demeanour.
The difference is they put on a show. Yes It's one show, just like any other show. You don't go and watch a movie and expect it to be a different movie each time you watch it. Or go to the circus and expect anything different than it has ever been besides a few minor changes, which they had..
this is one of the best magic i have ever seen,i have seen"the box people" in person on the street where someone is handcuffed inside a box thats locked with another person standing on top and a curtain goes up for about 10 seconds then down and they switched the other is handcuffed inside with it locked...its insane and i could watch it over and over..this is the same more,piers just doesnt understand how hard magic is to do even if you do the same act you still have to do it without messing up

For a musician it's easy to learn a new song, for a dancer it's easy to do a new dance routine, but in what they do it's not that easy at all! The few changes they did make took all of their time..

I am a magician my self and i do shows. I can for can tell you its hell of alot easier to get a new song or rap but not to do a new trick. Tricks take time to perfect and they have to run smooth to getter. That judge needs to go get a real talent before he can even talk.

It's like asking someone to learn to speak eloquent Russian from scratch in two weeks, or become a great opera singer in a month. It can't be done. I know Pier's right, but it's just unprofessional and insultive of him to tell them that they're dead, dumb or whatsoever that he said. Put yourself into their shoes. You've done same intriguing performances, and suddenly the judge says, 'Are you deaf, dumb..?', what will you feel? At least make the comments a bit more polite and not make it sound insultive.

I agree with Piers... you can't do the SAME act everytime in this day an age. We can all view it here and no ones mouth would be on the floor. I think the other judges would have agree'd if the reaction hadn't been the way it was. Piers also could have said it differently.

I agree with Piers. They changed, what, one outfit, added a wig and a scarf? They didn't even change the order that they used their concealing thingies in. That's like a singer changing three lines in a song and trying to pass it off as a whole new act. It wouldn't fly.
They should have changed their choreography and ALL of the outfits EVERY time they performed. I've seen other Quick Change artists, so yeah, it is possible to do other routines and still be "quick change".
The purpose of magic tricks is to entertain people. The guy just thinks all they can win by is the fact the others dont know how they did it! The success or failure of magic trick is simply in its "magic" and entertaining potential. Its like "hey look what ive done, it looks fantastic"! and its not like "Hey look what ive done, ill be showing it to you untill you figure out how i did it!". We all can generally speculate how they did it but thats not what magic tricks are for they must entertain!

It's a great trick but I have seen their act before and it is admittedly the same stuff right down to the cloth and the confetti. Piers is just trying to too hard to be Simon Cowell and comes off as an ass.
That being said, it's quite obvious how they do most of the changes particularly involving two-sided dresses that change by some manner of pull-tab causing the top to drop down.
I acknowledge that this quick changing trick is AWESOME (this is the superman changing trick come true, lol) and is performed perfectly... It for sure required months of developing and practicing... BUT THEIR BUSINESS IS STILL WEAK because it's just one trick... They are not acting like total illusionist but like a ONE ILLUSION PERFORMERS.
I thought that it would have been better if David and Dania concealed some of their tricks performed in the audition and semi final for the Finals. In this case, I agree with Piers' first point about changing the performance but however, he lost himself after that and ended up losing his professional image. Calling David and Dania dumb is a total insult as you can' deny, both of them have style.
For the past 2 hours, I've been watching your act over and over again and in different videos. Maybe it's because I'm procrastinating on my work term report (lol), but I'm still not bored with this act. I probably watched it 12 times and I'm still amazed.

@ZuzanaRihova it's the construction of the costumes, mostly--they rip down, or open and fold around to show another costume underneath. I don't know all the specifics, but you can see little tells in the way she prepares before each change.

I know what Piers means, but it's the way he said it that ticked me off. Because as much as it is his job to critique the act itself, calling someone deaf and dumb is totally uncalled for! You don't do that to people who have worked very hard on what they are good at! You can say "hey it's boring to me" but it's another level to call someone dumb and stupid. The act is outstanding, in fact I've got the feeling it's too good for the show. That's what Piers was trying to say. These kinds of talent shows rely on discovering someone unknown and promising and make him a star. But that couple IS already famous, the ARE stars. They are so pro, none can stop them taking the prize. So they bring no drama to the show. The panel let them in, cause they are wonderful artists, but this show's logic is they'd eventually loose to a cabbage juggling little girl.

How do people disagree with Piers? He isn't telling them to completely change the concept of the routine, just to change it up! They are doing the exact choreography they did in the first episode. i agree with piers - it's the same routine with different music. it makes sense, they obviously can't just change immediately because i'm sure the clothes they have to use are very expensive to have made and the success of their act depends on the order that they go in (which is the same every time) - but no one is going to keep coming back to see the exact same routine done the exact same way each time.

Sure they do it with different clothes but they're using the same methods to change into them. If they did other methods to change into them then it would be different. But if both girls get in the second round and one of them sings the same song with only a few different moves and the other sings something completly different, I thing you get who is going to be chosen...
For one performance, those two magicians have no competition, but as a whole they refuse to evolve.

They just don't get the point. It was truly amazing, but it was the same "ROUTINE" and the same "ACT". What were different were just the "MATERIALS" they used. As rude as he might have sounded Piers is actually right. They are deliberately not changing the ACT* that culminates to the QUICK CHANGE** of clothes. You see there is a difference between ACT* and QUICK CHANGE**. They are taking advantage of the new audience every time, because the new guys haven't seen the ACT*. That took courage to get onto that stage and give a wonderful magic act they performed.Piers is just to picky and rude! They tried their best and it takes years of practice doing their magic act. I think,this show needs a different judge because,Piers apparently cannot be honest and realistic towards people who really try their hardest. He's to critical!

yea everyone jumped on piers. granted he did phrase it like a dick but what he was saying was true. It would be a great change if they used different props to conceal the girl and if they had a completely new wardrobe. Like him or not piers is the most honest, realistic judge on the show.

Piers needs to lighten up, he is frustrated with life and tries to make himself feel better by putting good artists down. Just let them do their brilliant show. Thats the whole point of magic acts in general, having a fresh audience each time. And I've watched the routine more than 3 times and I'm still not bored.

I agree with Piers. They changed, what, one outfit, added a wig and a scarf? They didn't even change the order that they used their concealing thingies in. That's like a singer changing three lines in a song and trying to pass it off as a whole new act. It wouldn't fly.
They should have changed their choreography and ALL of the outfits EVERY time they performed. I've seen other Quick Change artists, so yeah, it is possible to do other routines and still be "quick change".

The purpose of magic tricks is to entertain people. The guy just thinks all they can win by is the fact the others dont know how they did it! The success or failure of magic trick is simply in its "magic" and entertaining potential. Its like "hey look what ive done, it looks fantastic"! and its not like "Hey look what ive done, ill be showing it to you untill you figure out how i did it!". We all can generally speculate how they did it but thats not what magic tricks are for they must entertain!

Piers act as if he is the king ~ come to think about it, changing an act does not take 1 day or 1 week ! it takes years and years of practice! if he doesn know this, i got no idea why is he even one of the judge. Do he have talents like them? sometimes i really wonder

@WORLDOFELLUSIONIST I'm sorry, but in a competition like this, they shouldn't have come on expecting to be able to repeat the exact same act multiple times and still win. They should have taken the time to have all their acts both PREPARED and DIFFERENT beforehand.

Lol love her look at the end when he says "see what happens" she looks like she should have a vodka in one hand and a smoke in the other. Isn't it funny how animated people are on stage and how full of life they look but off screen it's so different. Interesting :)

It's a great trick but I have seen their act before and it is admittedly the same stuff right down to the cloth and the confetti. Piers is just trying to too hard to be Simon Cowell and comes off as an ass.
That being said, it's quite obvious how they do most of the changes particularly involving two-sided dresses that change by some manner of pull-tab causing the top to drop down.

I acknowledge that this quick changing trick is AWESOME (this is the superman changing trick come true, lol) and is performed perfectly... It for sure required months of developing and practicing... BUT THEIR BUSINESS IS STILL WEAK because it's just one trick... They are not acting like total illusionist but like a ONE ILLUSION PERFORMERS.

I am somewhere agreeing with Piers, this is just ONE single trick they keep on doing over and over. The way Piers could have respond to the argument:
"Singers come back here still singing, they just sing a different song, dancers keep dancing but just perform a different dance"
could be:
"...and illusionists come back here performing each time A DIFFERENT TRICK"

I thought that it would have been better if David and Dania concealed some of their tricks performed in the audition and semi final for the Finals. In this case, I agree with Piers' first point about changing the performance but however, he lost himself after that and ended up losing his professional image. Calling David and Dania dumb is a total insult as you can' deny, both of them have style.

For the past 2 hours, I've been watching your act over and over again and in different videos. Maybe it's because I'm procrastinating on my work term report (lol), but I'm still not bored with this act. I probably watched it 12 times and I'm still amazed.
