You know, I said that after I'd only listened to it a handful of times. Now, I think I'd agree with you. I really do love this remix a lot now. That's what's wonderful about BoC, their music isn't always immediately appealing the first time you hear it. But their music really has a habit of catching you unawares and growing on you.

Their on synths. I suppose it's always on the filter, it's on one of my filters on my synth. Im not very knowledgeable of it all myself but im pretty sure those "Laser" noises is called resonance, but i could easily be wrong. On my synth when i turn the filter frequency down and Resonance way up it makes that kind of sound, especially if it's set to an LFO

hell motherfucking yes. this is one of my favourite h.i. tracks. 'trapped' is really good because of its virtuosity, but this is just beautiful. they gave it that '80s egyptian mythology b-film for kids type feel.
