She is Bright like a star! I don t really like the way Faugiel asks her so many questions, and interrupts.. he tries to put words in his mouth but she defends herself perfectly. I think he might be a lill' jealous! which is understandable, she has so many qualities :)
Journalist learn such thing to bother to be so rude like him. I know because i study it. We learn how to put a conversations, such tricks, journalist must still keep conversations. In other case he would be throw out the television.
i guess i don't get the french sense of humor because i though the interviewer was really rude and seem to be accusing her of something. i don't care what she did in the past but i like her. she seem to have so much love for her family. whenever she talks about them, she lights up--there's a glow to her face and she looks happy--the times when she was talking about her family were the only times i saw that she was comfortable. KEEP STAYING TRUE TO YOURSELF AND KEEP FIGHTING VANESSA!
@taometslao your're right about vanessa , but the interviewer is like that , he is a little bit crazy with everybody !!he ask many questions about your life , the things you said before , and vanessa was saying that she has been criticised a few years ago a bout her clothes , her theeth , and so on , but when she went to new york she noticed that american are very cool people they treated her like anybody , and not pointing her like french people did before .excuse my english !
The french have a very different sens of humour. I'm french, but from Canada and sometimes they laugh at things I wouldn't consider funny. Their humour seems offensive at times & serious. They don't act silly, goofy or ridiculously, like EVER!
i didn't see a problem with the interviewer although I don't speak french. he spoke to the point which i think vanessa has the self confidence to appreciate

The interviewer is rude and harsh. French interviewers seem to be quite direct and critical. Here in the UK the guests would probably walk off if they were spoken to like that, lol. It is not like that here.
Yes, FrenchTendance, I found it more frank than rude - really trying to ask questions with some substance, and there's nothing wrong with that - I detest the superficiality of 'celeb' interviews, British or otherwise. But one thing we suffer from both in France and the UK is this horrible TV hype, the fake liveliness, everyone talking too fast,making it almost impossible to say anything sensible or serious. God, I hate all the phoniness.
Olivier Fogiel is a perfect asshole. Fractious and vulgar. Openly gay, he usually hates normal and straight people. the worst of the French junk TV...

People who are interviewed knows he's rude. Vanessa knew it would happen like that.
