The truth bothers those who have been raised in Haitian fairy tales of "greatness" but it is good that Haitians be exposed to facts because while they live in their fantasy land the children of Haiti are starving and being sold into slavery.Perhaps a dose of reality will make Haitians work hard in the present to overcome their abysmal condition instaed of living in a made up fantasy in the past.

I'm Haitian and most of my family is white/mulatto and we have alooooot of land/political relations there.

Haiti doesn't suck that bad... I mean some parts do, but where my grandparents live in Port au Prince and Jacmel its really beautiful there. I have however, faced alot of racism there even today because of my skin color/ features that I really can't help. And it sucks worse because this exists everywhere.
