factory fuel injection manifold is holding it back. The V65 single-plane manifold is available from motorsports for about $300. Easy to mount your 2 barrel and way more power than stock FI setup. The holley 350 cfm 2 bbl + annular vents is a great choice. I've built several for friends and they make about 200HP with stock parts (using bill good's cams from billets). swapping cam sprockets lets u jump forward or back half a tooth (4.5 degrees). S12 manifolds so cops won't hear your VG noises....
@swimmerB0B those POS single plane manifolds don't flow anywhere near as much as the stock Z31 manifold does, ESPECIALLY when it is gutted. Look up Russ' VG30 Preview on youtube, car made 220whp with an eseentially a stock Z31 plenum...NA, btw.
