U can get the whole cube checkered if u do: right inverted, right inverted, left inverted, left inverted, up inverted, up inverted. Then u turn the cube to any side and do the same pattern, to get it back to normal do the whole thing backwards

To acchieve the same with less moves: Turn to the faces you want to be checkered and do L2 U2 R2 L2 U2 L2 U2 D2. Now just the side you're looking at and the side on the cubes back is checkered (as in the vid).

How ever, there is an algorithm that is easier to memorise: Do (L2 U2 R2 D2) and do it 3 times (you are doing it in a circle).

i have a cooler trick to get all the side like that. just do L,L,R,R,U,U,F,F,B,B and then you'll have all the side checkered. just turn each side twice. its only 12 moves and you can start on any side

actually, there is a better trick than this. And that is getting all sides of the cube to have a checkered pattern. All you do is start on any side and turn the outer faces twice. Do this to all sides and you should get them all to have the checkered pattern.

thats to checker the entire thing, frankly that only ranks number 2 on my list. I'm a fan of dots personally. ( it's easier just to say "move only the middle column" rather then say all the algorithms) move each column like it's diving into the cube once, all the way around. ( 4 moves total.)
