If you really want to put Lordi in a genre of music, I'd say they would be ehm.. Shock? Metal. They have got the shocking image of let's say Alice Cooper and KISS, and they sound more like 80's Metal, so it isn't Glam/shock rock and neither is it Heavy Metal.
