Starbucks, although a respectable company, makes some of the worst coffee in the world. Their roasts are all dark, even the ones they claim to be light. Their lightest is many concientious cafe's darkest roasts. A French roast is the darkest I will ever go, this is the lightest that Starbucks will go. The dark roast simply hides the mediocre coffee that they use. Premium my ass.

I work at Starbucks and think you should know that French Roast is an EXTRA BOLD, which is the STRONGEST that Starbucks goes. Try Breakfast Blend, Pike Place, or Guatemala Antigua (my favorite). You might find that you like it better...

I have tried almost all "flavors." They are all terrible.

It is not the strongest, it's the darkest. Know your coffee terms. Strength comes from how much is used during brewing.

Starbucks warps the terms.

"Not instant..INSTANT." Some dweeb in a cubicle at an ad agency spent 3 months to come up with that lame phrase. Starbucks is making a grab for the instant coffee market. "Just add hot water." Umm, that's what you do when you make French press method.... If I want good instant espresso, I look to Medaglio 'dOro brand or Kroger's organic instant coffee. Starbucks just never comes to mind when I want good coffee. Starbucks is just polishing the brass on the Titanic.

im a barista for starbucks, and chaosdragon, its not a brewed method, but you simply add hot water (i havent tried adding cold water to it to make iced coffee) to the already microground coffee packets. its very similar to the crystal light packets, etc.

i wouldnt say its starbucks BEST product, but its better than every other type of instant coffee ive tried..hands down!

It's actually instant coffee. I just tried the Italian favor, not bad, it really tastes like brew coffee.

no, I mean if the music was more exciting, mayby just a little more "peppy". The concept of the ad, if I am correct is that Starbucks is make a revolutional change in Instant Coffee, so the music should be bolder and give that sense of "pow", the music that it has is a little dull, sorry, I studied and worked in Marketing and Advertising, i can be overly critical. But it is, as a video ad, really good.
