the dante in DMC 5 is purposely made into a new model. the produces knew that there would be a negitive inpact towards it. its meant to be the very first game to explain how dante got to where he is no. so the im guessing the order goes DMC5,DMC1,DMC3,DMC2, DMC 4 so guys lets give it a chance and see how it plays out : )

@pauly202 you did just one little mistake. dmc3 strory plays before dmc1. one proof would be vergil.

so the actual storyline would be more like: DMC5, DMC3, DMC1, DMC4, DMC2 (dmc2 the last one, cuz dante gets his bike and drives into hell at the end of that game. theres nothing told about him getting back to human world in any game)

I think the Dante in the new trailer for DMC 5 is going to be a clone. Note the mental reconditioning he appears to be going through to make him think hes dante, add to that hes complete and utter fail appearance and lack of resemblance to anything bad nor ass... Either that 'thing' is a clone, or im taking a dump on ninja theory's door step every day for a year.

If anyone has ever seen the anime everyone should know that there is no fucking way that guy could be Dante because in the anime even through he doesn't ever say it you ca all figure out that he is anthony an alias for when he was a little boy and he had white hair the only way that that could be Dante is that it's his or he died his hair black but there going to find some fucked up way to put that in the it means he doesn't have any powers cause they were taken away somhow in DMC5

@aariku14 By the way I understand the game, the protagonist of DMC5 is the Dante's son -Dante says to Mundus "When you come back, give my regards to my son-, and the sword is the Sparda's Sword... That's following this theory of the DMC1... I think that in DMC5 will be a young Dante, a teenager, before DMC3 -Wich means, without Sparda's power-.

@aariku14 I actually think that people are judging the new DMC game way too soon. Just because at the moment Dante doesn't seem to be the Dante we all know and love doesn't mean that it's going to be a bad game. Personally I'm looking forward to seeing what they're doing with the new game, and remember it's not being developed by Capcom, I think they're just publishing it.

@TheBigLT no ive seen the interviews...ninja theory is gonna keep this bullshit going and they're not bringing back old dante because he was'nt badass enough (WTF!) and they changed ebony and ivory, and rebellion wont be showing, and ninja theory has the worst games ever...TO MANY ANDS!!! srry but this required beating it into ur head. it's a reboot so nothing will go back unless everything goes terribly wrong...

@THERAGNAROK777VII I have to disagree that Ninja Theory have the worst games ever, I haven't played Heavenly Sword but I thought that Enslaved: Odyssey to the West was a damn good game, although I have to admit that they did team up with Namco Bandai for that one. I guess only time will tell. The way I see it though, they surely can't do a worse job than Capcom did with DMC2, now that was one of the worst games ever.

@TheBigLT hey now i liked devil may cry 2. the only things that really sucked was the emotional detachment dante seemed to have and Arius's voice actor lol

the enemies looked really cool and the game play was fun although dmc4 perfected Dante's gameplay in my opinion

@TheBigLT If you haven't played Heavenly Sword yet, it's actually a good game. Not much replay value, but it has a wonderful story and is presented quite well. 4/5 for me.

@THERAGNAROK777VII I really don't care about it, cuz rather it sucks or not, us being DMC fans we're still going to buy it. Like I said on another video, you don't know how Dante was as a teen, I'm pretty sure he wasn't always badass like DMC 3 Dante. But them saying that DMC 3+ Dante are lame, ya that's a huge insult to us fans. But they fuck up Dante's image up too bad, who cares about his childhood XD

I don't think it was necessary to change dante's appearance if they only wanted to introduce ninja theory gameplay. Everybody's complaining about dante's new look and personality. And they expect us to believe that that new extendable sword that emo and gay dante is wielding is the force edge! I hate it.

@TheBigLT Random visitor here but, That's the problem. It's team Ninja, and Team Ninja's games really can't stand up to DMC Even in the trailer when they show a bit of gameplay (I think) it already looks slower and less flashy, not to say the entire atmosphere feels nothing like DMC.

@raveouse everyone knows they're about 18 or so in DMC3 because when 4 comes out Dante looks like he aged by like 10 years and Nero plays the part of the noobish devil hunter thats apparently the same age as Dante was in the very beginning of the timeline... there probably wont be any true proof of everything but maybe capcom will give us something next game to support a bit of it

Nop @darknjkrad, ok think obout this, when Vergil was still concious in DMC3 he was about 28-30, then he dissaperared in the underworld while Dante returned to the human world, what if in that time Nero already existed, and no one knew about it, then later in DMC 1 he had time to grow enough to know his uncle Dante in Fortuna city, Nero is Vergil's son I'm sure of it, and thats why he can control Yamato, and feels the same thirst of power his father felt until his death.

@oiorhola dude sparta was a militaristic city-state in ancients greece. watch 300 and ull get the idea. If were talking about gods, i think its ares whos the real god of war. If ur referring to the game, kratos is the god of war (since he killed ares).

And in devil may cry, sparDa is actually a demon but he protected humans and was in love with one.
