In my opinion, all "top 100, top 50" (and so on) fails.
Do you know why? Because there are so many good movies so it's impossible to make a "top". For exampe you forgot starwars, nosferatu, rambo, forestgump, casablanka and the godfather.
@JokucFromBFME Well, it's a matter of taste. I didn't forget Forrest Gump, it's here on the list. I'm not a Star Wars fan, although i've seen all 6 movies and two of them were great. I didn't like Rambo. As for Casablanca and The Godfather, they were ok, but not THAT good.
@fuchtlphi if you like asian movies i would recommend you to watch Sympathy for Mr Vengeance by the same director that made Oldboy (imo, this movie is even better than Oldboy)
you dont count A movie with before the name as starting with A, like A Clockwork Orange belongs in C
