Isn't most Noir novels and Movies (which I really like by the way) have a woman who will betray the Detective and has been around the block with all her byfriend ( sometimes happens to be a crime boss, drug lord etc.) but I really like the Priest gag with him wanting to hear all the isck deprave things people do behind closed doors. Part of that job is interesting to those people.

I remember first seeing this episode on BBC2 back when I was a teenager in the nineties. This show was funny as fuck, though it would have been even funnier if I had seen Chinatown before I watched this episode.
