  • "Ooooh, College! I'm so impressed!"

  • Is it just me or does Tamara La Boink look like Debbie Thornberry from The Wild Thornberrys? O_O

  • @creativegirl31 Same Animation Studio

  • THE CORNFRED`S VOICE IS THE GRUMBBLE`S VOICE IN AHHH!!! REAL MONSTERS.

  • Jason alexander was a good election for the rol of duckman.

I like when says What a hell are you staring at?

  • Who know where i can watch the episode pilot from 1991 produced by klasky csupo.

  • Peter Lorre as alway screaming. He looks very similar like in a daffy duck cartoon

    from 1947.

  • Pure irony at it's best at 2:35

  • Never thought I'd see the day; Cornfed losing his patience.

  • Isn't most Noir novels and Movies (which I really like by the way) have a woman who will betray the Detective and has been around the block with all her byfriend ( sometimes happens to be a crime boss, drug lord etc.) but I really like the Priest gag with him wanting to hear all the isck deprave things people do behind closed doors. Part of that job is interesting to those people.

  • "Tubby guys sitting under fans always know what's what."

  • That Sydney Greenstreet parody is gold.

  • I remember first seeing this episode on BBC2 back when I was a teenager in the nineties. This show was funny as fuck, though it would have been even funnier if I had seen Chinatown before I watched this episode.

  • That's why I love Duckman. When Duckman announced that he wanted to marry Tamara, I actually felt bad for Cornfed. It's great that a comedic cartoon can trigger emotions, and Duckman is the only one that achieved this yet.

  • Ah, 19:42 - 19:55, A Chinatown reference. Nice!

  • @ironturtle89 12.30 .... Postman Always Rings Twice reference... anothe Jack Nicholson film.

  • Which episode did Duckman become the dictator of a South American nation?

  • clear and presidente danger

  • 25,000th view ^_^ lol this is one of my fav episodes

  • Too many worthy quotes to quote from a single episode!

  • je,i never see this episode before,is excelent,so many parodies and references,i love noir movies!

  • lol that was scary when duckman said that ''your my best friend'' then BOOM! lol that was scary poor duckman and cornfed both lusting after the same woman who is so like a jessica rabbit only blonde and more sharp witted
  • This show was genius...Family Guy eats my nuts.

  • Same here.

  • Dod.

  • Heh.

The small guy at 05:25 is Nolan North.

  • You're my best friend.

  • I can't believe that I finally found this series on DVD in Australia. Released in 2009, it is 15 years after the show began. I have only the first two seasons, but damn, it is so much better than watching the low quality internet versions.

  • It actaully begin piloted in November 1993 on Comedy Central, but started it's official run on USA in March 1994.

  • I like this show when I have hangover.. I think that I'm a lot like duckman when I'm drunk. this episode has style

  • Those Peter Lorre and Sidney Greenstreet kind of character are just hilarious. They even have the exact same voices!!

  • Love is the most single most evil thing to bestowel, humankind. It makes men stupied, and women weak. It crumbles empires and make us kill one another. Fuck love and all its evils

  • "Love is the most single most evil thing to bestowel, humankind. It makes men stupied, and women weak. It crumbles empires and make us kill one another. Fuck love and all its evils"

I have a couple responces to this (with corrected typos)

Hate is the single most evil thing ever bestowed upon humankind. It makes men stupid, and women weak. It crumbles empires and make us kill one another. Fuck Hate and all its evils.

    Continued in next post...

  • Sorrow is the single most evil thing ever bestowed upon humankind. It makes men stupid, and women weak. It crumbles empires and make us kill one another. Fuck sorrow and all its evils.

    and

Fear is the single most evil thing ever bestowed upon humankind. It makes men stupid, and women weak. It crumbles empires and make us kill one another. Fuck fear and all its evils.

I could go on reapplying your statement to every emotion and it will still fit.

So we should be emotionless bio-machines?

  • It would be a more plesant exsitance. But in the end, our emotions are here to stay. For better or worse.

  • Pleasent is arguable. After all, without emotions there is no joy, therefore there is no enjoyment.

Emotions are as equally capeable of inspiring good as they are at inspiring evil. It is our tendency to take the good for granted and concentrate on the evil that makes it seem so imbalanced.

It is easy to trivialise someone saving a person because unlike when someone kills a person there is no body, there is no hole left where a person once was.

The results of good actions are less noticable.

  • Man has struggled since he first became "human" and not a ape. for survival. struggle and survival and fighting is man's reason for being... love is just another struggle.

  • While all pursuits can be destructive, the only one with the beauty to destroy all and to save all is love. We'll see how the dice have been rolled for this civilization someday, if we haven't already gotten piss drunk to forget about it.

Emotions are the only thing that makes life worth living; its their paradox which keep the wheels turning, that keeps the invisible force we call gravity with its gravitas, and the streams the silent winners. From someone who knows what numbness is like: feel.

  • what a pretentious twat!

  • another one. did you ever hear the saying that "it is better to remain quiet and be thought of as a fool than to open your mouth and remove all doubt"!

  • We were just saying what was on our minds. I could use your last quote against you for feeling it necessary to stomp on people like that.

  • nice reference to Chinatown the Nicholson classic

  • : bros over hoes

  • Well...at leasts its not hommies over hoes. That just sounds gay.

  • lol this whole discussion has gotten a little

    bit gay sounding.

  • What the hell we'd need buckets for?

  • what a work of art.

  • "your my best friend" BOOM! LOLOLOL

  • She reminds me of Jessica Rabbit

  • yeah true dat!

  • yeah

she is like jessica rabbit all right

    only blonde

    and more detective like

  • we hadn't had a real case since the catholic school girl disembowelings of 1991, and even then the school girl got away.

ROFL!!! This is my fav episode

  • It sounds like Bebe Neuwirth voiced Tamara. Great episode.

  • it is - good call

  • circonium?, no shaped ice...it used to be bigger...ROFL!!

  • you rock for posting these episodes. I hope

they put them out on dvd, this was like my f

avorite cartoon just out of high school when

it was still on comedy central. Half of the

things I want to do to the new cartoons on t

hese days reminds me of the kinds of things

Duckman either does to or yells at Fluffy and

Uranus, with the exception of Spongebob and B

ack at the Barn Yard cartoons in general have

been reduced to mockable at best.

  • At about 5:30, that is the voice of Ren, from Ren & Stimpy, right?

  • No, it's Maurice LaMarche.

  • Love that guy; he does a lot of voices on Futurama as well...

  • also a lot from anamaniacs

  • "I'm reading it off the tampon box behind you"

    LMAO!!!

  • GAME OVER!

  • "simpsons wannabe!";

    "They make fake dog doo?"

  • Comment removed

  • of course, it's known as film noir. : )

  • cornfed!!!!

  • wat u tlkin bout, duckman is nuttin like simpsons, check ur shows!

  • LOL it's a quote from this episode.

  • Simpsons wannabe... LOW BLOW!

  • Casablanca, The Maltese Falcon, Chinatown, all the great film noirs are referenced in this. Love Duckman, wish they released it on DVD.

  • Eventhough people always bash Duckman I say that they couldn't have picked a better person, Jason Alexander(not the one that married Britney Spears) to do his voice. I hope it comes out on DVD soon. Cornfed was always the man brain behind that man.

  • George Stanza from Seinfield will always be known as Duckman.

  • *Punches Mirror!*

    ......ow.

  • The fact that this show got cancelled shows that network people are all STUPID! Too funny for description.

  • network shows are rarely cancelled because the execs find it unamusing. it got a poor time slot and not enough people watched it. very sad, though...

  • Well the fact that they couldn't program the show/promote it to get the audience it would of undoubtedly achieved in the right hands kind of makes me lean more towards the 'network execs are stupid' argument.

  • Hah. D-Man has to be the worst noir actor ever. Amazing.

  • You can forget about being the best man? LOL I think its 2 late 4 that...

  • omg i keep forgeting u never goed to college!!FUNNYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY

  • cornfed is so awsome

  • "HEY! How did you know that door was a pull instead of a push?"

He notices that, but not the first two?! LOL

  • "Simsons wannabe"

    best insult ever

  • i love corny he is soooo cute.

  • no, i spilled my espresso...

  • this is just...just great!!!

  • Duckman in Black and White!

  • cornfed becoming scary

    lol

  • +one of the cheapest, yet best of the duckman episodes. why didnt they make a feature film, it wouldbe better than anything groening could do.

  • The Catholic schoolgirl disembowellings! Brilliant!

  • Funny Show!

  • been around the pool, more like been around the ocean

    thanks for the post!!
