Purtroppo questo patrimonio musicale che ci è giunto non viene considerato abbastanza in Italia, anzi non viene proprio preso in considerazione. E pensare che la musica moderna deriva da queste splendide melodie composte in un'epoca che non fu buia come si pensa, ma al contrario apportò grandi innovazioni tecnologiche e modi di pensare.

This site is Montemassi Castle next to Roccastrada Italy- this picture is part of big picture in Siena of Simone Martini 1330 and shows Guidoriccio da Fogliano up the horse (right hand) fighting near Montemassi Castle.

The name comes from da Fogliano Guidoriccio birthplace of Guidoriccio and is here but there is no longer the heir.
