  • Nice playing, this will get me started, thanks.

  • Thanks Darren. Love Bruce's music and am trying to learn to play it. Thanks again!!!

  • Brilliant.

  • The very beginning of that song is taken from the 3rd movement of Charles Ives' piano sonata no. 2 "Concord". There's also a great concert band transcription.

  • WOW!! I am gonning to be able to play this song!!! Thanks!! not like I will play for anyone I torture to listen but I look forward to playing this song soon for myself and few music fellows

  • Great job Darren. Just the angle of the camera makes it difficult to see the keys you're hitting, especially in the intro. Regardless, thanks again!

  • How did you get the instrumental piano part down by ear?/I got the bruce hornsby anthology songbook and its not there

  • Hey, I work a lot of the music I play out by ear, it's just something I've always been quite good at! I did find some music for the intro online though, try looking at online sheet music sites and you'll probably find something!

  • Great playing...remembers me at some sad times without my girlfriend...by the way try to get your hands smoother country rock isn´t so aggressive :))

  • SLOW DOWN!!!!!!!!!!! JESUS!

  • Well no offence, but I didn't have to post a tutorial at all! It's not like I have all the time in the world to spend on stuff like this. And plus its a video, you can pause and rewind as many times as you like!

  • Amazing the way you play this song, you have that Hornsby feel on the intro with that country touch. Excellent!

  • Great job. I have my work cut out to learn this one. Bruce's chords are one of a kind. Thanks!

  • Thank you so much for putting out a tutorial on this song! Check out my page for "look out any window" tutorial

  • You're welcome, and I will do, thanks.
