@DKMatsu Christianity is built on love, but like Jesus said there are many people who call themselves Christians when they are not, few find eternal life. I wish people would stop portraying Christians as bad if they know that Christians aren't like that. and if they dont know, they should find out before they make movies about it.

She's not meant to be a Christian figure, she's meant to be a tragic monster: her faith demands she feel guilty and ashamed for feeling physical pleasure during a date-rape, and that same faith demands she keep the child that resulted from it, and the only way she can alleviate the guilt is through punishment. This is all extrapolated from Catholic ritualism, and these things do happen in real life. Less butthurt plz.
