  • I have to agree with peacecanhappen27- C.S. Lewis did indeed write the Narnia books as an instructional tool for Christian children.

I was looking for this song today (Good Friday), and I'm glad I hit upon your interpretation of it. It's a powerful subject and you captured it in this video without focusing too much on the actual 'death at the stone table', but giving that scene its due. Well Done! Definitely sharing this with friends and family.

  • I love both Narnia and Godspell. my School did it this year for our first production and me and my friends are huge Narnia Fans... Cant wait till December when the next Narnia movie comes out!

  • @DarkWolfinc that's interesting, I didn't know that!

  • I like your video :-) It's inspired me, I think I'll make a similar one but I have a different (older) version of the song I like better. Very nice!

  • This was lovely - thank you for sharing

  • Awesome job! This actually brought a tear to my eye!

I hope you'll keep making videos like this; God is definitely using you for great things!

  • I'm the composer of the music of this song (Jay Hamburger the lyrics) and I love what you did. Check out the upload on my channel of our 10th anniversary production and you'll see how the song was done in the show -- very different! But, this was lovely. Thank you!

  • Simply beautiful work

  • very perceptive lepizzagirl, C.S. Lewis wrote the Chronicles of Narnia as a retelling of parts of the Bible for kids. (I'm serious it says so on the back of my copies all seven of them).

  • @peacecanhappen27 You know what's interesting about C.S. Lewis is that at first he was an agnostic (or atheist, don't remember) and to settle his own mind he set out to prove Christians wrong. He tried hard but couldn't do it and eventually became a Christian himself and wrote all kinds of religious books and stories :-)

  • Wonderful idea. No clue how I missed this possibility before...Godspell and Narnia are two of my favorite things. Thanks for the great video.

  • interesting... nice parallelisms here.

  • I went looking for the song just to listen to and found this video instead! Awesome! Well done!

  • I really love this song and the movie as well. Nice job by putting two of my fave things together! :)

  • DearHeart...

This is gorgeous. Definately going on my favorites.

That was beautiful. Thanks for posting.
