Thats why WOW is the best MMORPG ever. Its all the randomness in, and mystery...the deeper you go into it, more things you find. The more you explore, more weird things you find. Other MMORPG's are too sterile and get boring after some time because there's nothing else but gameplay that can keep you playing. WOW is really a real virtual world. Even if you dont "play" it , you can still "spend time in it" since there's so many things.

I think it might be like a foreshadowing easter egg for a new expansion. Each expansion has had a final boss that gets bigger and badder, and each one hits closer and closer to home, so I think one of the future ones will be when an Old God comes back. You can even hear C'Thun speak in this. I think the Satanic kids and Goldshire have something to do with the future Big Bad.

I just did it. I played on a server where the time was wrong, and it they weren't there. I came back at 7:30 PM and they were there. I stayed for a half hour until they despawned at 7:59 PM. I heard creepy music, but no scream, no YOU WILL DIE, and they didn't move at all. There were also skulls on the firewood. I did this in patch 4.1.0

Wait......I think I've heard that......the music and stuff is ambient in the upper ruins of Lordaeron like the throne chamber, the hall and the bell tower remains you very very vaguely hear it in the background. Masking the quotations from Arthas.

I went back to Lordaeon, on my alt in the Gul'dan server, and listened with only the ambient on and yeah that creepy music is a mix of Lordaeon's ambient noises and some stuff I've never heard. Try it and see.

In reality the pentagram (be it upside-down or any other way, in witchcraft, Judaism, or the star on the top of your Christmas tree) does not represent anything evil. In fiction it is often seen as evil either way. Warcraft is fiction and just for fun. What I find noteworthy is Jose in the middle - there is no point in the middle of a pentagram. If the locations they stop at make a pentagram, I would say check out that center area of it on the map. Maybe that center point is X marks the spot?

They used to hold the Pentagram arrangement even in the room, while staring at the wall next to the fireplace. Now they stand in more of an hourglass formation, and they tend to look at the center of the room.
