The way in which the wool industry is run is also very cruel towards sheep. In order to prevent maggots from emedding in the skin, large chunks of flesh are sawed from the sheep's hind legs and buttocks. The sheep are kept in factory-farm like conditions (crates they can't move in, no air or sunlight, etc.). Buying wool increases demand for wool and furthers the industry

lots of people say they tried to be vegan but stoppd because they were getting sick. I then find out they didn't really try to substitute what they were cutting out. The way in which the wool industry is run is also very cruel towards sheep. In order to prevent maggots from emedding in the skin, large chunks of flesh are sawed from the sheep's hind legs and buttocks. The sheep are kept in factory-farm like conditions (crates they can't move in, no air or sunlight, etc.). Buying wool increases demand for wool and furthers the industry

lots of people say they tried to be vegan but stoppd because they were getting sick. I then find out they didn't really try to substitute what they were cutting out. Of course you'll be sick! the truth is, you need to do research before you simply cut out animal products in toto. if you don't prepare yourself you'll simply be unable to have a balanced diet, and supplements have nothing to do with it. beans, tofu, seitan, tempeh etc, mak sure you get lots of it along with leafy greens etc etc.

@Loctondan2 I don't know if you know this, Veganism is not a diet. The food they consume is only a trait of the praxis of Veganism.
Hundreds of reputable health and nutritional institutions claim that a plant based diet is a healthy one. Two questions if I may, are you a nutritional expert? How did you arrive at the conclusion(which contradicts science) that an omnivore diet is better than a plant based diet?.
