@collegegal79 I know these people look like they're in their 30s and 40s not 20s! It's strange it seems that way in all the love connection videos I've seen
@rudimnb1 I totally agree with you. She acts as if she's all that because she can get some fat old dude's number. I bet those are the only numbers she's gonna get. She'll prolly die an miserable old hag never knowing the meaning of true love. Then we'll see who has the last laugh.

where is she now? 2:18 this says a lot about women in America. abortions on demand, birth control, face made up like a whore. This is the face of the decline of Western civilization.
It was kind of needless for Chuck to ask her if she planned on getting married eventually. Whos the announcer for this episode? Does anyone know who it is and how long he announced for Love Connection?
A slot machine fits Love Connection b/c it would have two sides on one screen. On one side is a group of males, the other side is a group of females. When the slots finished spinning, it would pair up two people (both of whom are of the opposite sex) and see if there is a love connection or not.
And IMO, I thought the Slots intro was very creative, though the Animated Hearts intro, (which started after the Slots Intro in fall 1988) was almost as equally creative as the Slots.
Jack could have done a lot better than that Sheila chick. For someone who's not all that cute, she sure is shallow. I mean, listen to her! "It's all a game to me... (stoner laugh)" She looks like a high Linda Ronstadt. XD
This is also the episode where it was also distributed by Lorimar-Telepictures, just the year after LC, and another game show were "under contract" with. Love Connection was one of the best game shows ever to have a lot of opening sequences, including a "slot machines," of couples who match them up.
I agree. This is the one that has a slot machine where couples either make the connection or they just don't hit it off in 1987. That's also the same year that LC is also distributed by Lorimar-Telepictures, no joke about that!
and also the original S1 spiel tag "Sometimes our dates have a happy ending! And others...well there's just an ending!" is brought back for the Slots intro as well.
Also, there was two other variations of the "Slots" intro. The 1st one was w/ the original 1983-87 LC theme song (1986-87 season), the other was having one of the slot windows having a shot of Chuck Woolery in one of the windows.
Sorry to double post, but does anyone know how far GSN is from airing the first version of the "slot machine" intro? I haven't been watching it, so I'm curious how far GSN is in their rerun package.
As with megamanj2007, I also thank you tremendously for the "slot machine" intro! I've been anxious to see it when I first read about it!!! FIVE STAR VIDEO!!!
You are very awesome for this long-awaited "Slot Machine" intro! Thanx in a dozen!!! They also had another version of the "Slots" intro w/ the 1983-87 theme and another one in late 1987-very early '88 w/ a shot of Chuck talking and other couples.
It's also weird how when the 1987-91 synth theme debuted, they would still use the old introducing couples cues and commercials bumpers from the 1983-87 years, but yet when the 1991 jazzed-up theme came out, they updated all the commercial and introducing couples cues.

The announcer in this ep. is Rich Jeffries, who also announced on the 1987 version of Blockbusters.

How long was the slott machine intro used? Also, how does a slott machine fit love connection anyway?

no, Lorimar-Telepictures began distributing LC full-time in 1986, although L-T accidently slipped up on a few 1985 eps. on GSN.
B/C Lorimar-Telepictures also began distributing "The People's Court" (w/ Judge Joe Wapner) around that same time as well.

Ive been trying to find the 1987-1991 synth Love Connection theme everywhere, but Ive come up empty every time. You think its out there somewhere?

Forget looking for the 1987-91 synth LC theme. I'm looking more for the 1983-87 LC theme.

I dunno, I've tried searching all over the Web for the original 1983-87 LC theme and I came up empty every time. Maybe I'm searching to low?
