The old 81-82 air cooled 250R will spank a 350X also. The 350X is #2 for the overall fastest Honda trike. There is no 350R bro. Just the 350X 4 stroke. You can put a CR500 motor in a 350X....that makes for a insane ride.
The age limit thing is a joke on both quads and dirt bikes, I'm 14 and ride a Honda xr350af and the minimum age is supposed to be like 16! WTF! It should be, if you can handle it, you can ride it! I also ride my dads

@diggs59 The 3rd generation Honda 250r's and Tecate 250's were hitting 70+ stock.. There are several companies out there these days producing turbo kits for the raptor 700's. If thats what you have, you should look into it. Turn that craptor into a real machine!

I suspect the 250R is far from stock, considering it has a heavily extended swingarm, probably made for dragracing, which tells me it's got a much bigger engine than a 250 in it. Stock vs stock, the T3 would have the 250R in the bag hands down.

Both of these trikes in this vid are far from stock so a comparison is pointless.If they were stock the Tecate would beat the 250R in a drag race by a pretty good length but bit would not smoke it.The 250R would not be far behind.Drag racing trikes is awesome but that's not what they are about.The Tecate and 250R were built for motocross tracks and when you compare them that way they are so close it comes down to the rider.
the tecate might get a a bike on the 250r, but once all ported out & comped up, the 250r motor is kind of hard to match with any other 250cc 2 stroker.

That 250r is sick and so is that tecate! Reason why I know this is cause that is my bro on the 86 250r and my old man on his 84 tecate! That 250r has alot of power behind it and I have seen its beat up on some yfzs 450s and 450r! The only time I have seen it lose was by a bikes length to a crf450! My old mans bike is no slouch either banshees have fallen to her plenty of times so have raptors and a cr500 on the street!

There is barely balance on a dirt bike it is just like a bicycle....you can hang off the side and still balance the bike straight.....they made dirt bikes-quads-and three-wheelers for racing IDIOT....
When they started making quads and trikes adults were racing them not kids....Kids got bored with dirtbikes so they went to something more fun and challenging....old dirt bikes were piles of heavy steel(quality) vs. the lightweight quads and atcs....

I grew up riding dirt bikes and I LOVE them(my last was a ATK 406). A quad is like a golf cart(too smooth).....I just hated spinning one skinny tire.....I want to feel 2 meats ripping into the dirt. Dirt bikes you can land hanging off the seat to one side and pull it easy w/ your eyes closed....yawn

Both of these trikes in this vid are far from stock so a comparison is pointless.If they were stock the Tecate would beat the 250R in a drag race by a pretty good length but bit would not smoke it.The 250R would not be far behind.Drag racing trikes is awesome but that's not what they are about.The Tecate and 250R were built for motocross tracks and when you compare them that way they are so close it comes down to the rider.
