  • My thought at Jeeg's first form: 'And I thought LAGANN was diminutive.' XP

  • Wow, you can really get ahead in Alpha 3. XD

  • Jeeg is so badass that he can pwned you only with his head

  • Kotetsu Jeeg: Never quits when he's a head.

  • newtype + super robot = badass

  • The centaur mode didn't have enough attacks.

  • does anyone know where i can the koutetsu jeeg anime in english subs?

  • 4:23 HE FUCKING KILLS YOU BY HUGGING YOU, IF THAT ISN'T BADASS I DON'T KNOW WHAT IS IT

  • Amuro Ray in Jeeg!!! Yup, you're all dead evil doers.

Is Jeeg a Super Robot? Sure he yells out his attacks but his attacks aren't as extravagant as GGG, Mazinkaiser or Getter Robo.

  • 5:54- 5:56 is the Giga drill breaker predecessor.

  • Hiroshi is very similar to Guy Shishioh

  • @kingofbraves And in the game, they're very close friends. His reaction to Guy's "death" in the GGG FINAL events is very saddening.

  • This is why I love Jeeg. EVEN THE HEAD KICKS ASS!

  • JEEG BAZOOKA SHOOTO!

  • JEEG IS EFFIN EPIC! Epic Belly (crotch) TORNADO!!!

    And the Death Hug! XD

  • This Koutetsu Jeeg isn't just for show!

  • Knockle Bomber

  • Spin Storm....

  • jeeg breeeeakeer!!

  • It feels like mazinger dudes made this

  • He did...

  • He did. Go Nagai was the creator of this and many other super robot titles. Hell, you could say that he's the father of the super robot genre.

  • He -was- the fatehr of the genre! Mazinger Z was the first Super Robot show, as well as the first example of a robot piloted internally!

  • Mazinger Z might be one of the most well known supers but its not the one that started the genre. Tetsujin 28 which came out in 1956 as a manga and in 63 as an anime was actually the first super robot. although it is true that Mazinger Z was the first one to be piloted internally.

  • I don't believe Tetsujin was ever referred to as a Super Robot specifically, though my knowledge of Tetsujin lore is quite fuzzy.

The trend definitely began with Mazinger Z, however, while Tetsujin 28 and Tetsuwan Atom stood mostly alone.

Nagai himself defers to Tetsujin and Atom, though.

  • Either way, they are all badass.

  • JEEG BEAM!

  • does anyone know where to download or how to get the music instrumental for each SRW characters?

  • jeeg is very popular in italy.

  • @mattiathekaiju any 80-70's mecha is popular in Italy.

  • i like how jeeg's voice is the same for amuro ray...

  • It's also amusing how Jeeg's one of the smallest, if not THE smallest Super Robot. It's only ten meters tall. The original Gundam could've *stepped* on it, for crying out loud.

    And Jeeg's head looks a little like a Haro's. Don't you think?

  • well thats bec its head must be according to a human zize, i mean the hall head cant be bigger than febo :p

  • The head is pretty much him rolled up into a ball of awesomeness. Pure robotic awesomeness.

  • i think that Tekkaman is the smalestor maybe the AS of FMP

  • Those are powered armor.

  • ammmm but it apears in SRT that makes him part of super robots or no??

  • Not necessarily.

  • Tekkaman is actually the smalest super robot in SRT franchise.... and is not a root is a tek armor. But, yes he is part of super robots, he has ataks above 7000 poinst of base damage.... so i think that qualifies him as super.

  • 7000? Hmm... I don't remember Tekkaman having that much. With Pegas, maybe, though.

  • Yeah im talking about him on top of PEGAS. In SRT W whit blaster mode and the favorite system he has a base damage of 7450 for volteka.

  • A mech being super or real has nothing to do with its damage output.

  • Of course is has too!!! xD Real robots then to do a lot way less damage than a Real robot. The super robots like mazinkaiser, shin getter one, gaogaigar, etc tend to have ataks above 7000 point of damage. Real robots (with some exepcions) tend to have atacks between 5000 and 6000 points damage. The damage output is one of the big diferences betwenn real and super.

  • I'm telling you, damage doesn't have anything to do with it. You need to look at factors like: can the mech get mass produced? Is the mech driven by some kind of reactor (Gundams) or does it run on willpower (Gurren Lagann)? And even then these factors can't truly define if a mech is a super or a real, they only help define it.

  • Strike Freedom in SRW K.

    /topic.

  • lol owned by SpiritofSteel

  • Also you can tell a super by its attacks the type of cockpit a unit has and you cant tell by what power is is run because for example the gundam oo units run off of endless power source which is like a super but are still reals and also there are reals that are supers at the same time so there are hybrid types for example of this are the g gundam all have powers like super but still needs to be mange like reals and yes damage also counts

  • You're right for the most part ichgozero. Except that the units in 00 don't have endless power. This was proved in season one when the Throne Gundam pilots litterally said they were low on fuel and GN particles when they were *spoilers*

attacked and the two guys were killed.

  • @toudoujuku Well, technically, isn't he Jeeg's head?

  • @FoolyCoolyMabase Hiroshi is the head, he can transform in a mystic cyborg

  • @loquehacelvicio Yeah, that's what I said

  • Jeeg Beam

    Knucle Bomber

    Dynamate Kick

    Magnet Rope - Jeeg Breaker

    Spin Storm!

    Jeeg Lancer

    Match Drill

  • what is the name of the red hair guy ? :s the new enemy beafore Himika

  • Emperor Ryuuma, the main villain of Jeeg. He's demon sealed in the bronze bell that Himika released.

  • Too bad in Kotetsushin JEEG..........

    *SPOILERS*

..........................he had to give up the Bronze Bell to turn the new Jeeg into Kotetsushin--watta let down T_T

  • He's my favoritre, After Mazinkaiser, Shin Getter robo and Gredizer, he's the strongest. I read a manga where he was fighting in psace with the rest of them, he's body was destroyed and he kept fighting with his head and Grendizer stopped cause if he kept on he's power would explode and take all the bad guys AND the rest of the robots with him lol.JEEG ROCKS!

  • MA IN ITALIA NN è MAI ARRIVATO?!!

  • i would live to see a jeeg /shin jeeg team attack

    Double Spin Stooooooooooooooooooooorm! anyone

  • RIGHT ON!!!!

    5/5

  • I wonder... Kotetsu Jeeg's Head Ram...

Into Mazinkaiser. Or an AT Field, take your pick.

  • wtf? is that a head?

  • yup, a head before merging with other body parts....

  • CROTCH LASER! Japan's innocence at it's best! =D

  • Watch Combattler V's vid and bell me about the big burst debanka XDD

  • Jeeg has stats on par with Real Robot pilots, trading dodging and Newtype/Coordinator for the automatic "Ignore Size" and attack power, and also learns Spirit. As a unit, Jeeg is S size and has 120 starting agility - customized appropriately, he may only need to use Concentrate for the accuracy bonus. His Mach Drill hits single enemies (good supporter at 1-3 range), activates at only 110 morale, and - unusual for a "most powerful attack" - is ammunition dependent, with 8 rounds.

  • Kotetsu Shin Jeeg may appear in a future SRW after three years. Maybe.

  • why three years the series ends 3 episodes from now, and we have 2 new SRW's in developmint apparently, i'm sure if they wanted to he could be in the nexst.

  • They always wait at least 3 years before putting a new series in the games.

  • well it should be time to release a new SRW for the ps3 or something.

  • Especially PS3, due to the lack of a regionlock.

    That'd be awesome.

  • The PS3 is the least popular system on the market; while the PS2 may not be selling as well, more people own it.

The DS, as I last checked, is topping the platform sales, and hence it's getting lots of attention now (W and K were not that far apart).

I doubt we'll see a PS3 SRW for a while, though I could be mistaken. I'd count on a DSi release or more PSP/PS2 releases.

  • Jeeg Beam!

  • I can't imagine him hugging Gunbuster's squid-battleship enemy to death...how is that supposedly possible?

  • Sorry to say this, but do you expect reality from SRW?

  • Well no...it's just that it'll look really funny in reality.

  • No no, you've got it only partly right. You imply that SRW breaks rules of reality. Actually, it's _Go Nagai_, breaking the rules of SRW...

  • it is funny y does the player keep using jeeg beam jeeg beam haha

  • He has an automatic "Ignore Size Differences" for his Platoon Skill. So while Majinkaiser is trying to put a dent in the 3L size monsters you run into later, all you have to do with Jeeg is, cast Spirit, use Mach Drill, and laugh as he tears something big a new one. ...With a low chance of getting hit in return.

  • So he has the ability to ignore size differences as he does his hug-death attack? Cool.

    But really, Kaiser Nova!

  • when jeeg bashed into the robot one the very begging he shuld ahve blown up lol just kiidding his kool

  • Jeeg is a nice character, is strong, no much, but have speed to dodge attacks

  • BUILD UP! Ban ban ban ban, BUILD UP! Ban ban ban ban,

Bara Bara Ban Ban Ban Ba Ban Ba Ban Ban Ban Ban Ba Ban Ban.

    Excellento song! :D

  • i love jeeg.... and his elbows when running are scary

  • You should see the way he runs in the anime.

If you had this guy in a race with another robot, I'd fear for that other robot.

When running, Jeeg flings his elbows back so much that he'd smack the other robot straight in the face.

    ^_^;

  • If he smacked Mazinkaiser in the face they would ship Jeeg home in a several billion match boxes.

  • Nothing quite like a robot that hugs its enemies to death.

  • You can't freaking TOUCH the JEEGSTER.

  • Dont fake on Jeeg! He has the coolest theme song! The first one lol

  • Cucumber Legs making Cucumbers top of the food chain!

  • I found him the most useless person in my party. Easily killed by 'The Beast'. Unlike the Werkbau, who killed 'The Beast'...twice.

  • @Kite:

The easy way to do this is to just put the Big Shooter(the aircraft you mentioned...that thing's hardly a battleship) in the same squad Jeeg's in. It lets the Shooter live, and lets Jeeg use his best moves.

  • The key to mastering Jeeg is to make sure his series Battleship is also there, so you can reassemble Jeeg in the likly event that he's defeated and ends up in Jeeg Head form. You also need it for his Finisher. In other words, try not to deploy Jeeg without his series' battleship, unless you're a really good Commander, or a lucky one.

  • JEEG BEAM!

  • I think it's cute! It's like a chubby Eva...

  • i found this guy pretty much useless...

  • Then you'd be wrong. Fully upgraded, this guy has pretty good dodge rates. Sort of like a real robot, but with the extra power kick of a super. If you equip him with items that increase his armor and HP ratings, he can be a monster.

  • good thing always come in small packages

  • so if the head gets destroy he will die too?

  • Well in the game if the body gets destroyed, you survive as the head but if that gets hit then yeah, death.

But Jeeg is so badass that it rarely happens.

  • wth is jeeg like,is he a human size mech?

  • In terms of Super Robots he's pretty small.

  • Actually no he's about the size of Great Mazinger. Thats not such a small robot.

  • actually jeeg the size of jeeg is merely 10meters he is one of the smallest super robots

  • I dont see how thats possible since his head is literally the size of a person rolled up in a ball position, while Kouji is inside the Pilder ship inside Mazinger's head.

  • if you watch the origanal when heroshi transforms into a cyborg his size dramaticly changes before he morphs into the jeegs head.

practical... no functional Hell yalike they guy below said spirit + mach drill = Bitch owned

  • Well anyways I looked at a size chart and Mazinger's 18 meter tall so theyre not the same size. Anyways, 10 meters; lets just say average male is close to 2 meters, so thats not too far off in height.

  • Don't disrespect Jeeg. He's earned the title of All-Time Ugliest Super Robot Hero!

  • yeah..the guy who done his paint job mustard been high

  • The pilot looks the same as the robot?

  • The pilot IS the robot in the sense that he transforms into the head, then combines with the rest of the parts. He's like Gai and GaoGaiGar except not as awesome and win.

  • If you look at the video you don't see a pilot face but the robot face straight. Tetsuya is not the pilot of Jeeg, he is Jeeg! It's the fusion of man and machine.

  • i call him watermelon man
