  • Where are the TACP? and SOW? They are AFSOC too

  • 3:17 O-H-I-O

  • This is war is the name of the song

  • ummm cct and pjs are deployed with special forces and SEALs and they fight as hard and sometimes harder because they're treating somebody under fire and laying fire support while being a rifleman

  • No branch or spec ops group is "better" than the other. Most times they work together with interlocking capabilities becuase they are each specialist in thier specific disciplines. CCTs go with seals, recon, special forces, special tactics, and rangers to direct air traffic. Coast Guard MSRT teams sometimes train and work with SEALs as well as USCG LEDET teams on Navy ships. They even sent 4 coasties to BUDS a couple of years ago. one fight, one team.

  • what song is this in this video?

  • SOWT you forgot SOWT!

  • I really hate it when black people all work together secretly and smile really big and give you things you never asked for and ask you to do more and more things that you are EXTREMELY UNCOMFORTABLE DOING FOR THEM as they escalate the requests all the way to a RAGING QUIET RAPE.

  • I am waiting to go to BMT for the USAF and Imma be in POL. I talked to a guy who just got outta the USAF as POL and he told me, "When you get deployed they hand you a M16 no matter what. If the shit hits the fan it don't matter if your Army, Marines, Navy, or Air Force. Your all American Service Men and will have to fight if it comes down to it. So remember that when people say your in the 'ChairForce' cause branch don't matter with bullets wizzing by your head."

  • what holster do CCT use now??

  • Man thanks for the video!! I've always wanted to go PJ since i was 13. My Dad served 25 years in the army as enlisted SF and always said his best friends were the PJ's hahaa. i'm 23 now in an emt and paramedic program and scuba qualified, tryin to do everything I possibly can to prepare myself mentally and physically i want exceed all expectations anyways, You guys fuckin rock, You guys are the best! Thanks again.

  • HEY,WHAT ABOUT TACP.lol

    HOOAH.

  • @BrandonTheDude TAS's are badass, but they don't really qualify as SOF. They're more or less infantrymen who know how to call in air/indirect fire support

  • @dandoosh90 yeah thats true, but the AF considers JTAC spec ops anyway.

  • @BrandonTheDude Yes, they are under AFSOC, but no, they are not a special tactics unit

  • love this song, Pararescue min 1yr trainer

  • You forgot " Any Time, Any Place", still enjoyed it, thank you.

  • Chuck Norris tried to become a PJ... but failed hahaha

  • not to diss any but i have heard from from army and marines that seals are overated and airforce save there ass alot. but i have no idea. i think the seals have the second longest training tho at a year long and army SF at 56 weeks and air force 35. but im not sure if allt he sites are acurate and up date. i used military.com free free to let me know coast guard trains with seals tho i know that. i might do the pj's then coastguard.

  • navy has badass special ops, so does the air force!

  • maybe if im a guardian angel (PJ) on earth i can be one in heaven?

  • ALL BRANCHES OF PJ's ARE TOP TROOPS !

  • I don't know why pj's are so "elite". Never saw one in Afghanistan or Iraq. Not even sure they are special. Any casulty air evacs or Air support was always by Marine air or Army and even the Brits. Never once saw the chair force do anything other than eat at the chowhall. Most other Branches wonder why we even have a chair force when they can operate alone almost without any assistance from the chair force. I think most Army or Marine grunts could agree with me.

  • @760guy haha you're a joke kid...

  • @760guy how many sf guys did you see overseas hoss? are 18x mos's not elite either because you dont see them?

  • @760guy

Yeah. No. You were just never in enough SHIT to see the PJs. They were eating in a fucking hole.

  • @760guy That's because PJ's usually work with SOF troops, not grunts. Most of the Air Force Crosses and CMOH's awarded to enlisted AF personnel over the years have been to Pararescuemen. And I'd love to see you go through their training. Ever heard of the 24th STS? Yeah. The Air Force has an SMU, and the Marines don't. Anything to say to that?

  • 10 seconds Is the greatest priminister even in canadian history Stephen harper he has stood up for an innocent identifable minority who is treated worse then rapist's and serial killer's because the leftwing facists don't like us,,,

wonder why he was travling with us military personel normally CF boarding party units are used to protect him

  • I've actually had the pleasure to know a few of these fellows(not any from the vids that I can see). Even known a couple that have lost their lives in combat. Great group of guys who are about as normal as normal can be. They don't ask much of anything from anyone, but they would fly into hell to save your life in an instant. Thanks for posting this vid.

  • I'd love to become a PJ, but I'm color blind, so no passing the flight III for me. I wouldn't wanna be a CCT though, its way too much multitasking for my tastes.

  • 0:38 Look at that thunderbird, won't mind having that as my background.

  • Bring 'em home guys, bring 'em home. These truly The Few and The Proud.

  • hey im thinken about becoming a combat controller, but im also thinking about going coast guard deployable operations group. ik combat control school is harder but im stil not sure, any advice on which one is better?

  • @larrybird125

NSW is better than them all.

  • @RememberKarmaX wats NSW

  • @Dkelly160

    Naval Special Warfare bro.

  • @RememberKarmaX ya sorry bout that it took me a minute to realize what that was but really you cant go wrong with any special forces they are all equally badass in my eyes

  • @RememberKarmaX oh nvm. haha. what do they do?

  • @RememberKarmaX and who saves their ass lol pj's i say pj beats everyone in training and their job plus dude they don't just do csar but other stuff like : Emergency medical treatment to save lives

    Search and Rescue operations

Recovery of downed aircrews and aerospace hardware

NASA Space Shuttle Launch Rescue Support

Special Tactics in support of Interservice Special Operations

so you want to serve your country lol start by serving the people thats what makes up a country ;)

  • @RememberKarmaX but that doesn't mean i don't respect all of SOF :)

  • @RememberKarmaX No special operations are better than any other. No doubt there is no one better at saving people than PJs hands down. CCTs call in air strikes. There can be an argument between Recon and SEALs because they are both maritime special operations, my brother is Recon....you should hear him rant. Now with training I don't know what to say. Pararescue and CCT do have the longest training because all the schools they go to is needed for the job. Is it the hardest, that's arguable.

  • @RememberKarmaX .......Nice........

  • @RememberKarmaX & @Larrybird125 -- the USAF special forces give you a unique skill, so if you find out that military isnt what you want, or want to get out for any reason, you have something to fall back on. CCT have a really good knowledge of Air Traffic Control, and can easily pass the FAA test and become a Air Traffic Controller at an airport.

  • @RememberKarmaX How do you know that? You really can't tell unless you've been in all of the units.

  • @RememberKarmaX what is NSW?

  • @RememberKarmaX There is no better or worse we r all together and have different jobs. If you look at the statistics AFSOC is better but thats statistics. Fuck statistics. Im from a navy family and i just started thinkng about AFSOC but yea im just saying.

Hooyah! to SEALs, SWCC, Divers, Rescue Swimmers (USCG and USN), Marine Force Recon, Army Special Forces, Air Force CCT/Pararescue/Special Ops weatherman (haha), DOGs, EOD, Snipers, and to everyone in the armed forces.

  • @RememberKarmaX USAFSOC was rated number 1 over all other speical ops and made the best joint force operations as well in the iraq and afghan war so i dunno where you get ur info

  • @RememberKarmaX

I heard the navy allowed USGC to enter into Buds down in Coronado.

  • @RememberKarmaX Umm, noo. Whenever Spec Ops/ SF operators need help or rescuing, they Call in the PJs'

  • @RememberKarmaX they all do the same thing basically dude.

  • @larrybird125 dude, dont worry about how hard the school. do what you want your career to be. if you want it bad enough you will make sure and do what you have to, to become a CCT or be in the coast guard. Dont go off opinions of what OTHERS think YOU should do. Whatever you do just dont quit once you started the pipeline.

  • @larrybird125 I'd do CCT. It's harder than CG, but you get to work with all the special operations, including NSW, and the Green Berets. You also get better training. Good Luck with either one though!

  • this song fuckin is so gay

  • nice Video....

i very have no words for this...perfect

whats the name of the first song??

  • wow this is very inspiring!

  • thank you for honoring our pararescue men

  • Calling all PJ's! What is the average time a typical PJ can hold his for underwater? Tread water?

  • heros, all.

  • lol....4:50 look there's a small guy siting

  • @blakeblk Yeah, it's a mini-pj! haha

  • @RememberKarmaX no such thing as mini pj guy....

  • @usafpj3 I think he's talking about Charlie, bro.

  • @RememberKarmaX Nice vid, this is my dream job and I have 2 years of High School left to prepare for it besides then training they give. lol Air Force has some badasses too. Army, Navy and Marines respect these guys so much, that really makes me wanna be one of them.

  • @blakeblk You have a good eye sir!

  • Hooyah brothers.

  • Why is everyone down grading everyone? It's pointless man. and Yo, frpenguin if your having second thoughts of joining the "Pj's" you might wanna reconsider bro. It's gonna be a life changer, mark my words! Whatever you plan on doing in life, I hope you go far and succeed my friend! God Bless our Armed Forces over seas kicking ass like America has been accustomed to doing since the Constitution was signed! :P

  • I am a sophmore in highschool. This is one of my dream jobs. Idk if I want this life or a life as a college student at home and able to have a simple life. I think I am going to prepare for both. I'm getting into airsoft, and I'm gonna join track. I think this summer I'm gonna have my friends and I do jobs with equipment to prepare.

For the Airforce, I don't know wether to go for PJ or Combat Controler

  • @frpenguin

I don't know how airsoft is going to help you. But running in track uniform isn't going to help. Run in boots and pants, then add a ruck. Then run in full BDU. with your ruc. Get up to 10 miles, you will be fine in running if you can. And PJ vs CCT, you looking for full on combat? Or medical.. Simple Choice... Can you stand the blood? Or do you want to shed it?

  • Oh, we would play airsoft regardless of the Air Force. We just love it as a recreational hobby. Yeah, I have full BDU's. How many pounds of weight should I work up to? *by the way, on my earlier post, jobs was suppost to be jogs* Thanks though. It's hard to decide between having a job where I am responsible for other's lives but I can look back and be proud, or I can be responsible for taking lives and be proud if I think about it as doing the United States a great service. thanks alot tho man

  • There's nothing wrong with doing track. It will keep you in shape. You should also do cross country as well. It will build you up so you can run with a ruck and boots/bdu's. Good luck on becoming a pj!

  • @RememberKarmaX haha a perfect explanation. i'm PJ, pretty much a medic on steriods. i love it though. much respect for cct's, fuckin hardcore.

  • @toddwaite Your a PJ? Is your name Todd Waite? Class numbers, anything? Prove you are.

  • @RememberKarmaX 060810T. not that i have to prove myself to you or anything.

  • @toddwaite

Sorry, you just have to verify people on the internet, can't make claims you can't back up ya know? I'll check it in a bit.

  • @toddwaite you shouldent post ur info on the internet bro

  • @elocwood1 i agree. however a class number is no big deal. its from 4 years ago and is completely unclassified. appreciate the concern though.

  • @toddwaite oh okay yea i just dont want soeones co to see it and flip shit

  • hey any tips or adivice on the training school, im interested in cct or coast guard deployable operations group. which one wud u recomend?

  • My older cousin (LTC currently stationed at the pentagon with personel recovery policy) was a blackhawk pilot for spec ops when he was younger. He is friends with some of the CRO's that went in the recover the bodies of Spartan 01. I've heard a lot about the PJ's my whole life, I don't intend to go in that field (currently a SERE candidate, planning on crosstraining after my first enlistment) but I got a lot of respect for you guys. Bring as many home as you can.

  • PJ main mission is to "aid the injured", which means you are primarily going to be saving life but if things get messy then you will be able to shoot as accurate with a M4 as you can cut with a siringe. CCTs main mission is to infiltrate an objective area (primarily hostile) and clear the area of any enemy personel and call in airstrike to weaken the enemie's infrastructures. You will be killing in that job. lol

  • @bryan31992 primamy objective of an airman integrity first

    service before self

    excelence in all we do

that never changes pjs intell ccts sf's deserve the same respect all the same

and its not the ccts job to kill everyone as you may think

  • @elocwood1 never said it was either of thier primary jobs? I said you will be taking enemy human lives in both careerfields. I was talking on a job description and mission basis, not on a core values basis. Thanks for noticing though bud.

  • @frpenguin Dude the best thing to do right now is learn how to run and swim. And learn how to do good, honest pull ups (no kipping!!) No matter what though...they will smoke you at indoc. Doesnt matter if you're michael phelps or a kenyan prodigy, or some mix of both. You will be pushed beyond the point of just pain. Its a truely peerless club, best medics and rescue specialists in the world hands down!!

  • i ship out exactly 30 days from now for a PJ job. at least a yr or six months before you leave you really need to step up a workout regimen; running, swimming especially, push ups, sit ups and pull ups 5+ days a wk.

oh and this is prob a good tip, try to not be going thru indoc around june-aug. u prob dont want to be going thru the worst phsyical and mental training in the world during the hottest time of the year.

  • You realise that its 2 years of training... Your going to be in the sun anyway...

  • @RememberKarmaX is it the same for Pjs n CCT? the time period of training... there's a lot of comparison between Seals and AF specops, in the AF spec-ops do you get some kind of fighting training?

  • Navy Seals and SAS are good but even they need to call 911

thats where these guy come in.

Any tips for a guy trying out for the PJ's in 5 years?

  • @SSasskicker I would suggest you get used to running alot and prob good to get a weight vest cause they carry alot of equipment. And push ups and sit ups will help so tht ur body isnt in too much pain. Also getting to know some medical terminology will help. If u do all of that you should be good to go. im preparing now and im 2 years away from going.

  • DEATH FROM ABOVE!!

  • You TACP?

  • @RememberKarmaX

    That would be correct.

  • i love this video cuz my big bro is training to become a pj hes alredy passed indoc and now doin the 2 years of training... but it shows me wut he'll be doin and also wut ill be doin cuz i mite go and fallow my big brothers foot steps

  • @dessertstud

Do it bro, Just get it don. remember the pain of training is nothing... if you can't do that, than you can't do the job

  • i am...im 14 and can alredy do the past test 4 quallifying 2 become a pj...and my big bro whos doin the 2 year trainin to become a pj helped me with the training wen he came home

  • @dessertstud Always good to have someone like your brother around.

  • wat do u have to do to become a CSAR

cuz i want to be one ill be out of highscool in one more year

  • good luck dude. its tough shit. im contemplating on joining it myself. i wish you the best of luck.

  • 4:50 is funny.they have a miniature version of themselves relaxing along with them haha

  • Hell yeah lol

  • yeah hahaha

  • I am sorry. I do not understand your comment. Please elaborate?

  • I remember when i first enlisted over 20yrs ago and whe would bash the Air Force.(SO YOUNG!) My first encounter with PJ hopefuls was Airborne School.I cant remember the guy's name, but he would tell us about the stuff he had been through so far and we were like,DAMN!! When I made it to my Ranger bn,we did an exercise at Ft Bragg in 1989 called Market Garden. This was my first time ever seeing what these Warriors were all about! Us young PFC's and Pvt's never bashed the Airfoce guy's again!!

  • Hooyah. In this together.

  • @AIRBORNEKMCQUITERY airforce guys in general? cuz you were part of the air force.

  • @JewelOriginals Well i wouldn't say we stoped bashing other branches, because they bashed us Army guyS too.Its all in good fun and were all on the same team thank GOD! The Airforce is a great branch of our armed forces and screw anyone who thinks other wise!!! lol I couldn't imagine our country with out the Airforce..They have a very important role and they are a big piece of the puzzle that makes our military! The Army couldn't deploy with out them guys and that say alot!!!!!!!

  • @AIRBORNEKMCQUITERY thank you..

  • 4:13 I think I know u from the Arkansas Wing

  • These aren't pictures of me.

  • @twrea I live in Arkansas right now and we dont have any PJ or CCT units in the wings here its a national gaurd bases and 1 AF base and none of them have PJs or CCTs

  • @tapp40 yeah, two in Arizona, none in Arkansas

  • it's funny you guys get on here and bitch. These were my brothers...whether we served the same time or not...there are people and families that thanked "US" many times over.

  • Are you trying to say your a PJ? And that these are your Bretheren? Prove it.... I will check and unveal the true answer.

  • RememberKarmaX....in Black Hawkdown they were portrayed it just didnt say who they were...right before the 2nd one went down to a BH dropped to PJ's into take care of the casualties they cracked a joke about making them some cocktails when he was given them IV and also said he would kill them if he moved them. they also helped saw them out of the BH, they didnt get the credit they deserved.

  • Your wrong about whether they portrayed it or not. They said that they were Delta Force... They were actually pj's... They did not portray PJ's in the movie at all. The second BH went down and 'Delta Snipers' Provided the 'Rescue'.

  • I get what your saying they didnt call them PJ's..i was more referring to theree actions/portrayed. The guy actually had his medic scissors on him. Just watching it again they said the Search and Rescue Bird is here "Super 68" inserting the last medic, was trying to recall the point in the movie right before 2nd BH went down, it was at the 1st BH crash site. Suprising he actually called the PJ by his "nickname", Wilkie or at least one who was really there PJ Tech Sergeant Timothy A. Wilkinson.

  • I'll watch it in a bit. I never even heard him call the man Wilkie.

  • I dont know really anything about the Air Force or these guys, so do these guys just rescue downed air craft mostly or would they go out on some special missions?

  • They are AFSOC and ACC so they are tasked with recovery and medical treatment of personnel in humanitarian and combat environments. They are the only members of the DoD specifically organized, trained and equipped to conduct personnel recovery operations in hostile or denied areas as a primary mission. They do go out on SOCOM missions. In the movie Black Hawk Down, during the actual fight for Mogadishu that was fought, actually involved PJ's and CCT's. Although the movie did not portray it.

  • youtube rescue warriors gives you a pretty decent overview of what the do and what it takes....of course the really harrassing and tough stuff don't always get shown on tv...

    ATTENTION TO DETAIL

  • My Attention to detailed sucked it's only INDOC, barely 9 weeks into 2yrs of "Superman School"....lot more stuff to do...

  • Class Number?

    Name?

    Date of graduation?

  • None of the Above...never said I was a PJ and never would attempt to be someone I am not. It would be an insult to special ops/military & all these people have given up to protect this country. I have way to much respect for them and take this stuff to serious and I know you do to. Most of the general infomation is available as long as you can cypher thru the shit and the real stuff...Dad was in Airforce stationed at Lackland Airbase. He worked with helicopter pilots, had friends that were PJ's

  • my pararescue unit kicks ass all the time

  • Prove it? Unit number

    Commanding officer

    Class number

    Class graduation date

    Where are you stationed.

    Whats your name?

  • What I thought. PHONY

  • Great tribute, awesome images.

    Powerful song!

    Thank you for posting.

    A Proud US Navy Veteran!

    5 *****s

  • Thanks, spent some time on it.

  • By the way thanks for posting this , It brings back some good times! Once a PJ always a PJ in the mind.

  • Vouch this man!

  • So the 5th picture in... thats mine... so just wondering where you got it? Its cool its in here I think its awesome Im just wondering...

  • USAF, the best but most underappreciated branch of the US

  • This is true +1

  • The air force is very under rated. But we dont need the satisfaction of everyone thinking were badass like the "marines" so called first to fight... The air force has the best special ops in the military. CCT first ones into battle. Pararescue Saving people and jumping into dangerous areas. Thanks guys

  • @TheNikeAirman It really is and this is what i want to do as soon as i get out of ROTC as a 2nd LT

  • Used to be a PJ miss it the green foot on the ass a for the H-53 we used to ride in battle the jolly green giants a downed pilots best friend we used to climb the water towers at every base and paint 6 ft grren ft to piss of the base commander and show the SP how easy we could sneek aroung 30 million $ aicraft!

  • Love that shot with the A-10 in the background.

These guys are so badass. I'm glad they're on OUR side!

  • Yeah, one of my favorite pics

  • Enjoy it boys.....retirement sucks...///// KB

  • Pic at :42 is my all time fav!

  • Its my background :)

  • I'm thinking that the pic was taken in Alaska. The HC-130 is set up for a RAMZ drop and the Loadmaster is wearing the rescue restraint life line, which is only used by NY Air Guard and AK Air Guard. The air deflectors on the ramp look like the ones on an HC-130 from Kulis ANGB, AK.

  • Meaning the pic at :42. Great video by the way and I am looking forward to working with the PJs on a closer level after I complete HH-60 FE at Kirtland.

  • @RescueLM Yeah, that images was taken in Alaska

  • Why they are Green foot ? 0:09

  • thats just the symbol of csar... green feet.

  • Whats up with Stephen Harper in the first photo?

  • I don't know.

  • To the gentleman that produced this video...as a member of PJ Class 080884....I thank you sir!

  • Welcome.

  • The Air Force spells it HUA!...Heard Understood Acknowledged ...I wish they had a saying different from Army.

  • No, its the US Army chants Hooah!, as stated by the general. The USAF chants Hooyah!

  • I hear HUA alot from AF personnel. hmm maybe it's changing.

  • If you hearing Hooah, then your just hearing someone chanting an Army chant. Its not spelt HUA.

  • Sorry man, All of air force is Hooaa, only usaf special ops career field has the saying hooyah. Ive been in both sides of the air force so trust me.

  • You just contradicted yourself. Not all of the Air Force sqays Hooaa if UAF Spec Ops uses Hooyah, Navy and Air Force use the Hooyah. Your thinking of Hooah, Which is strictly ARMY. My father is in the Air Force, brother is in Air Force, Uncle is in Air Force, Sister is in the ARMY, don't say shit dumbass. I take liars seriously...

  • Why are you getting all worked up about this? Some ppl in the Air Force do say "Hooah" "HUA" or however you want to spell it. I've heard them say its the "Heard Understood Acknowledged" but some ppl just say it. Particularly in AFROTC... It's less common for sure active duty.

  • Yeah, more like AFJROTC lol....

  • I wouldn't know much about that, but AFROTC for sure.

  • actually, all spec op forces across the branches use hooyah, noone else unless spec op use hooyah, ive heard so many ppl bitched out by nco's or co's by sayin hooyah during p.t tellin them they havent heard the right to say hooyah

  • I'm seriously looking into trying to become a CRO, but I'm not sure I'm qualified. I severed my right pinkey finger a year ago. The middle joint has been fused but the injury does not inhibit anything I do. Would this kind of injury prevent me from being a CRO?

  • you might be able to get a waiver.

  • Thanks man. I really appreciate the input!

  • Comment removed

  • Lol, very true! I don't need this friggin pinkey anyway. I still practice parkour, rock climb, etc. If it's extreme I'll do it or I already do. It's just that I gotta convince DoDMERB to see things my way. (BTW, to save confusion it is replanted and mostly functional. Any further insight is still greatly appreciated!)

  • cro's go to combat also bud

  • only person who can decide on that would be the medical officers when u go to meps. ppl going to ots/ocs whatever, go to the same meps enlisted men do. theyll look at it and decide then in the ortho exams

  • Being Active Duty, 301st Pararescue I'll tell you it's tough, you had better train, and you'd better be prepared to lay your life down. I'll also tell you there is no better feeling, and no greater reward on earth than to be on that field. Don't forget your support. For those interested in Spec Ops, remember.. there is no shame in being a 2S supply troop, or a SFS cop, this profession has a high wash-out rate. Your efforts do not go unnoticed b/c you're not Spec Ops. One team, one fight. Hooah.

  • This makes no sense.... Hooah is army... Are you sure you are Pararescue?

  • Good luck in all of your endeavors. I am prior service CCT and LOVED my job and am sure you will to. Train hard and stay safe.

  • Thanks man. Really encouraging.

  • 5/5 well done pj's and cct's all the way!!!

  • Hooyah

  • 3:20 COOL! PJs in CAP, thats awesome

  • Mhmmm.

  • Lol at 4:51 was that an action figure sitting in that chopper? Nice tribute though
