@powermetalfreak81 Deris can hit two notes higher than Kiske yes to be honest if you knew vocals that is like I do and can sing better, he has a wider range where Kiske was just a screamer aiming for the same note; whereas Deris hits many different notes and has a slightly wider Octave range and control than Kiske....but Kiske was still good on Keepers.

@gustavinhosc16 Helloween's last singer[Kiske] joined the ranks of Beiber when he fucked up helloween after Kai left and nearly turned them into a pop band, then he gets fired and goes and makes more fucking pop I don't see why people praise him when he can't even hit as many notes as Deris lol.

@totoman12 Actually Kiske can hit high notes anymore in his current age[early 40s] he can't sing I want out at all, are you metal wasn't suppose to be a master piece, it was just a track continuing on bands do that a lot....if you want a master piece go listen to If I Could Fly or this......Kiske's voice is pretty much just raspy after years of singing pop and old rock he has lost his touch and now like Halford to even get close has to bend over and force it out[no homo],

Mate, how do you know that Kiske's voice has changed a lot as you mentioned?

His performance in "side projects" (Edguy, Gamma Ray, Amanda Somerville, etc.) prove that he still has a very, very good voice not only for pop/rock music, but even for metal.

Everyone's voice gets older with the ages, that's true. That's a natural biological process in our life. But a good singer is always a good singer. (If she/he is able to attend to her/his voice.)

Oh, and one more thing... "I Want Out" is a song very hard to sing.

Even in his youth neither Kiske was able to sing that song the way he sang on the "Keeper" album. Hitting those high notes correctly live is astonishingly hard.

@SoldierOfSunrise So its not just his voice changing cuz of age, its just the difference between him having the option of studio effects towards his natural singing...its kinda like with dragonforce how they sound great to people in the studio but when they tour they sound like shit...toooooooooo many effects from the studio! >< It really makes an ass out of a musician when they do that and takes away the point of the music.

He over uses thing like pitch shifting and other crap effects in the studio, then when he goes to natural sing live he is overly raspy and sounds like a chinese scooby doo lol, Deris on the other hand rarely uses studio effects and sings naturally most of the time like Kai to add more emotion, Kiske masks emotion with effects....so he never actually screams or sings how you think he does lol.
