  • @TheJamdolinPlayer Thanks. Your pickin your not bad yourself! I'm from Saline, MI, south of Ann Arbor.

  • @CDawson81 Oh ok gotcha, My band is going to be playing at the Bellville, Mi. Community Center on March 6th I think that is somewhere in that direction.

  • @TheJamdolinPlayer Yep. That's just east of us. What time will you guys be playing?

  • @CDawson81 I believe the show is from 2-5 on Sunday march 6th. Im not sure if you have ever been there but it is a free show open to the public. I have videos of my band The North End String Band on my channel, also the weekend before that I will be playing there with my other band Deepwater Bluegrass....

We also play Friday Feb. 4th at the Kentuckians of Michigan, that show starts at 8pm.

  • I really like this mandolin!

Hopefully one day i will get a nice one like that.

    How much was it?

  • @CaseyJones461 new they are @ $2100.00 but you can find used ones on the mandolin cafe for @ 1500-1600.00 range.. keep on pickin

  • great job, great tone !!!

  • I just got an MT model for Christmas. loooove it.

  • Nice mandolin...expensive...I wish I could win one!!! I have a Michael Kelly...

  • thanks, I had a MK, then a Breedlove Quartz FF, then I traded in towards this collings. I wont need another one for a while... at least i hope

  • @bluegrasssingingman

The Breedlove was just very bright sounding. The Collings is def better, but I now have a Weber Bitterroot A and it is a beast...

  • @TheJamdolinPlayer You should get your MK and Breedlove back. There better sounding then Collings. Collings are over priced and over rated.

  • @bluegrasssingingman hmm i dont know about that, ya they are expensive but they smash the MK and the Breedlove soundwise... Dont judge it by these videos they are all shot using my digital camera...

  • @TheJamdolinPlayer I've played Collings and there over priced and over rated. Collings are Taylor for mandolins. I have a MK Eleg. thats smokes Collings all you got was a name. For what you spend on a Collings you should of went with Gibson, or Weber. Their names are backed up with great sound. Don't blame your digital camera. Anyways I wouldn't own a Collings. Your happy thats what counts. Close your eyes and open your ears.

  • @TheJamdolinPlayer wow man you sure blunt.... ahahaa... it is all preference in the long run anyways.... But ive had all the brands you have mentioned and the Collings MT sounds the best to my ears, and my ears may be jamming another tune than yours.. take it easy man, we are all entitled to our own opinions...
