Seeing the loco at Paddington reminded me of the classic GWR poster advertising the 2 hr Birmingham service with the Edwardian gent shaking the driver's hand and saying 'Magnificent Run!' (the poster didn't mention that in those days drivers who had a good run got tips from First Class passengers!). Anyway, very attractive set of images.

@NN2Blue Thanks Mike, I saw so many familiar faces at Paddington, probably enjoy watching their clips too, so it was nice to have time to try and capture the excitement of the enthusiastic crowd, and 5043 is such an exceptional machine, a Castle class always was a powerful beast-Tony
