I dyed my hair with shocking blue and it turned out really good, it was dark tho but if you want light blue use mp 'shocking blue' the wash with a little bit of slightly harsh conditioner ONCE and it'll turn a really pretty lighter blue

virgin snow is a toner, its not a dye like the rest, you have to have near platinum hair to use it, and it makes your hair white.

Virgin Snow Dye is used to make BLOND hair lighter, it's not a bleach of any kind I just thought you should know that's why it didn't do anything for you brown hair :)

@Botdf98 it won't show. You'd have to bleach your hair in order for it to be colored with Manic Panic. It's just an over color, it doesn't haven any peroxide like other box colors have.

manic panic is a semi so it guna fade of in like 8 days. it has less chemicals than raw which is a demi, and usually last up to 3- 6 weeks

I've been using Manic Panic for a very long time. You're right that Shocking Blue looks very dark in the jar - a lot of the colors do - but that's because it's concentrated in the jar. My hair is Shocking Blue right now. I actually mixed Shocking Blue with Ultra Violet to give it a bit of purple tint here and there. It comes out super bright right away... not dark at all. PS: If you're going for a royal purple color... I'd suggest trying the Manic Panic Purple Haze. It's more pink/less blue.

Why would you use conditioner to dilute the hot pink dye? All you're doing is blocking the dye from getting into the hair folical. I don't recommend diluting the product at all, I just reduces the vibrancy and potency of it.

Do you mean you want to mix the Ultra Violet with Mystic Heather? If you want to make the Ultra Violet lighter then you can just add some conditioner.

I doubt it, you should bleach the parts that you want to have pink highlights on! It'll last longer and appear much brighter. :)

I really doubt it'll work since it's more a cream than a dye. If your hair has some light parts to it, it might stain your hair and it'll show up in the sunlight. You can always test it on a strand of hair and see if it shows up!
