The likelihood of that 5.56 still having enough kinetic energy to drop the guy in one shot is pretty low. Also the barrel length seemed a little too short to be an M4. You can tell that it's not an M4 because they said "Yeah, he's too far out to drop with the M4."

@Zomb131 It's most likely either an SR-25 or an M110. The effective range of the M4 is 500 meters. 700 yards is equal to 640 meters. The likelihood of that 5.56 still having enough kinetic energy to drop the guy in one shot is pretty low. Also the barrel length seemed a little too short to be an M4. You can tell that it's not an M4 because they said "Yeah, he's too far out to drop with the M4."
M4's aren't usually made for sniping nor SDM roles. Their barrels are far too short for long distance
