A .22 round has enough velocity to enter you flesh but not enough to exit the flesh so basically it just bouces off the skin repeatedly until it stops moving. I'm not a big fan of the 1200 fps mode of the camera. Everything (lighting, focus, fstop, shutterspeed, etc) has to be PERFECT to get a decent shot. Even then the quality isn't very good. (it's a tiny, mail slot sized resolution) Thanks for your comment!

Good observation. To me, It seemed to partially hit the metal clamp and maybe the skirt broke up. Enough of the pellet seemed to pass into the cigarette though. It wasn't a clean shot, but for me it was pretty good! Thanks for the comment.

I can't keep the scope I mounted on it from moving, even after cranking down on the screws as tight as I can. I'm not sure I could keep the whole gun from moving in a vise.  For a pellet rifle, it has quite a kick to it. I need to film someone shooting it so you can see the kick. It's pretty accurate though, I had to do this in one take!

thats what i meant, clamt the gun to something solid, so that the human factor of shaking and pulling the gun when shooting doesn't come in to the picture. that way you will (depending on wind and so on) shoot at the same spot twice.

The scope on my Airgun has never slide so much as 1/64th since then.

I'll have to try that. I got frustrated and removed the scope because it would slide a little, and there's goes the zeroing. I totally agree that different brands and types of pellets have different flight characteristics. I've encountered that quite a bit.

I've got some videos on my account of my airgun (if you want to look). But besides that VHB. i also put the adjustment square (dunno what you actually call that part) flush against the back ring. and mounted the front ring 1/2 between the tip and the square dealy.

But that VHB sealed the deal, There are a couple different types of VHB, You want the white label (industrial strength) if you can find it, There is also the red label stuff, but thats residental strength.
