LOLITA IS BEAUTIFUL, she misses her family so much since she was captured in 1970. I pray for her welfare every day and I hope that Miami Seaquarium will learn to have compassion for her and let her go. She is so sad being there and she needs to be able to swim freely. So please let her go free.

Ive never been to miami seaquarium but i would like to go and see for myself the conditions of the park nd lolitas pen. From what i see online her pen is way too small. She needs to be kept in a bigger tank with other orcas. Sea world would be a better place for her and better yet a seapen where she could retire! FREE LOLITA!!!!!!!

I just got back from there Lolita is strong and courageous and its amazing how she has up held such horrible conditions after 40 years The whale show has changed it used to be 20 mins long now its ten the back of her dorsal fin is a grayish color and she is ever so curious and not afraid of people at all. I was talking to a lady who took pictures with me and we both agreed the situation was heart breaking. I think this poor animal should be retired, it is her right STOP MAKING MONEY OFF LOLITA!

@skinnyminny25 retired or not you have to realize that she will still be kept in that tiny fishbowl, as much as i hate her being in such a small tank, the only real socialization she gets is from working with the trainers daily. If she were to retire i'd personally like to see her go live at one of the sea world parks where she can be in a much larger tank and be with others of her kind :/ but either way you look at it she will never ever be able to return to the wild :/ :(

Miami should be ashamed . How can you allow this magnificent hunter to be held in this teacup. All for money !! Mr Hertz , you have made millions from this creature. She deserves to be retired to the sea pen prepared for her at Kanaka Bay. People are willing to care for her and allow her choices in her life , allow her to speak to another Orca , allow her to use her sonar and swim in a straight line. Not to perform your silly clown shows that teach nothing except how wrong we humans can get it.
