We have one. A Co-championship with Georgia Tech. That's it. Dan Hawkins is a decent coach and created a dynasty in Idaho, but the WAC doesn't have a ton of competition.

It's doubtful, his buyout is still pretty big. I'm not sure losing Hawkins is good or bad, I don't know that a ton of coaches really want to go to Colorado, with programs like Notre Dame coming up for grabs.

I'm kind of sick hearing people say that CU sucks, namely because they can't get wins in today's Big XII conference. We have to compete with Texas (currently ranked 2nd in the nation), Oklahoma (3rd I think, before losing to BYU), Nebraska (23 or 24th?), and Kansas (25th). The Buffs aren't bad, they just have good competition. And upsetting Oklahoma and West Virginia in 2008 should make the statement that they shouldn't be underrated.

wow 4 games in 4 years! how about west virginia 2 years in a row? Florida state in 07 and 08? Georgia L(13-14) in '06 (yes after the montana state game) arizona state in 06 and 07. and i have proof nebraska's difficulty of schedule is a 3.8 this year the easiest is a 4.4 and the hardest is a 1.0 guess what colorado has? 2.7 that's an entire letter which speaks a lot but i guess you wouldn't understand with your major in liberal arts

and as for the athletic comparison, the schools remain competitive but academics wise, there is no comparison. anyone in the country will tell you colorado is at a much higher standard of academic excellence than nebraska.

First of all, even if they 8-5, a big 12 school should never lose to a 1-AA school. It was a disgrace to the conference. Secondly, that was the year Michigan started to go downhill and App. St has won like 4 out of the last 6 1-AA National Champoinships.

I just wish that the Big 12 would reset the schedule back to the way it used to be. Put the game with you who, have delusions of rivalry against us, back to the date it used to be at, which is Halloween Weekend. I want NU to play OU at the end of the year every year. That way we will have a very strong foe to finish out the schedule with every year. While I would like to wow you all with figures, we won't know who's right till next year at the end of Nov.

No, I'm not afraid of that, cause our defense will be better this year than last, our main question mark will be at QB, but whomever comes out of that race will have to be better than your coaches boy. Next year whichever QB we have come out on top will be a real true dual threat QB. Actually, even when stationed in Iraq, I would listen to every game I could, do to missions and tempo of them. I have not been to a college Football game, but I will this year. I am planning on going to the game to our Old and True Rival, in OU. That is a game I will be worried about losing, and hope that it's not bad. As long as Bradford ends up on his back after getting nailed a few times, I can live with it.
