Just a tad dissapointing effort from two of my favorite singers. Nice arrangement, but they sang the song without the bittersweet emotional feeling found in the original Everly Brothers'. Strange that James Taylor made his reputation as a singer of sad songs, but latelly he sounds inappropriately too happy when singing melancholy songs. Overall I'm rating this a "like", but it could have had more impact.

If you want to hear something sung out of tune listen to just about any record by Maria Bethania, or Milton Nascimento - to name but a few - now that is truly "um horror desafinado"! But it doesn"t mean that all of their music is poor. Astrid Gilberto couldn't sing in tune to save her life (and neither could her husband Joao), but she's as sexy as helll. Oh and this is not sung out of tune....

On 1st listen this is nice. Everly's singin this live will always reign supreme though - in my opinion. This has a much poppier production. The ending is a bit o.t.t. The vocal sparring borders the wrong side of cheese. Still very nice though.
