Yeah I wanna get the LED tail lights too. But then I like being in a sleeper car. I just ordered the front sway bar from RRM and the FG grille. Looks like im losing the "S".
have you seen the Elite 10 Color Electronic Vacuum Gauge? That will pay for itself quick.
Whats an RAI? Whats a split sec? I have an SX4 - So far Ive done the Piggyback, Underdrive pulley kit denso irridium spark plugs K&N oil and air filters. Love SX4
@trainlinezoo Oh, so the RAI is $199? I wonder how I missed that one. So I did order the new CAI from RRM - shipping now. I also have the rear sway bar from RRM but haven't installed it yet - its 12 lbs of Muscle! I have the rocky-Road lift kit and Magnaflow muffler and a turn down tip by magnaflow sitting in my living room - Its all so cool just to look at...Man ornaments! I need to find or make a throttle body spacer. I also have the RR front skid plate shipping and a grounding kit too.
If you own an SX4 it is important to vacuum the Cabin Air Filter as often as you can. Be very careful and slow when removing CAF so leaves will not fall down into the fan. Wearing a padded right hand glove, Open your glovebox, detach the right side black arm by gently tugging. Use the black manual book to support the glove box so it can rest safely without stress. The filter is right in front of you - don't get eager. Remove the filter slowly and get it out of the car swiftly. FRAM CF10559
@trainlinezoo are the upgrades you made worth it? cus im thinking of making them... but am not sure since its kind of a very slow car :( ... and, is yours mt?
@joakingc Whats mt? I've done a lot of work and still have many parts to install. Yes it is worth it. The 2.0L engine is a monster waiting too be unleashed. I've done the CAI, ECU piggyback, front and rear sway bars, magnaflow muffler, stainless braided brake lines, slotted brake rotors, abendako dustless brake pads, grounding kit, voltage stablizer, K&N oil filter, high temp radiator cap, front end skid plate from Rock-Road and the potenza tires. I have the header, CF grill, sway links to do.
@trainlinezoo manual transmision, cus the one in this vid is automatic... would you say ur in the 7second mark on 0-60? cus im looking to go 6.5seconds without turbo, dont know if its possible but will try :)
@joakingc i don't know what my time is. I only concern myself with how quick I can climb an uphill on-ramp into a busy parkway. The SX4 with the large rear seat and spare tire both removed will move much quicker. I have a sturdy looking harness bar to install but I haven't gotten around to it. Once installed I'll have a bit more rigidity during lane changes. I'm thinking about getting the Megan coil-overs from RRM.
@joakingc Mine is an automatic. I live in a city so clutching would just lead to road-rage. If you're going to do upgrades do the braided brake lines and slotted rotors first. The stock brake lines and rotors will cope with additional power but please trust me here - these two brake upgrades set the stage for having fun with power upgrades. I painted my calipers with 5 coats of black high temp spray paint. They look so sweet. 2nd, get the potenza's. Those are Ferrari tires - simply amazing.
@joakingc It's Automatic. The Piggyback made a significant difference with the RAI and a muffler. My riders noticed the difference when I added the Piggyback.
@KB1OJU I definitely know it's not 165 at the wheels bro, the AWD and auto trans strips away the power. All and all I'm disappointed in the acceleration of this car, but it is still fun to drive.
how much power u estimate u have?

@trugreenguy I would estimate 165hp possibly. Maybe more realistic 160hp? The piggyback made the most difference.
trugreenguy 11 months ago
@trugreenguy its more like 130 to the wheels with everything, maybe 135 if lucky and a proper motor break in was done.
dont be mad tho ;)
