  • pyro as main? what are you, braindead? (i know the vids old, but to write such a thing is just shame)

  • I like the Pyro, but contrary to popular belief, it is hard to master, w + m1 usually fails because people can see you miles away with your fancy little light. What this guy did is amazing, he seems to have mastered the compression blast well, and I'm trying to learn how to use it myself. Nothing is more fun than juggling explosives or characters in the air. If you must w + m1 then the backburner is the weapon of choice, but it has no compression blast, so I don't use it. Great video by the way.

  • I'm not sure if he's mastered the Pyro :P He could've easly just airblasted the Heavy off the point and puff+stinged the Medic (puff+sting = puff 1 ammo of flame then axtinguisher him) and then cap and win the game.

  • @tr9000 Yeah he probably did master the compression blast. If he didn't, then he was trying to compression blast the solidier away when the soldier happened to be shootibg at just the wrong time.He probally mastered this though.

  • i wasn't spectating. that it me playing on ph's server. they had source tv, and got the recording of the match.

  • CAN ANY1 ANSWER THIS PLEASE, i wanna practice my skills in TF2, by myself how can i get enemy AI?

  • no but there are some maps that help u like tr airshot

  • Playing against AI will not help you get good at playing against humans. Just play with good people for a while and you'll get better.

  • You can't.

  • and yes, you CAN i did they just dont move

  • I think you can download something called "RCbot" which lets you have 'proper' ai, google it.

I remember using it a while ago, it wasn't too bad, but playing against human players is alot more fun imo.

  • Pyro does take some skill, the main reason people are angry at the class is the fact that w+m1 is, in the end, a tactic that works. It isn't the only thing that you need to use, however, and a less skilled pyro will die all the time, with the occasional lucky streak he could get from managing to sneak up on a group of enemies from behind.

Teams that don't pay attention to lesser-used routes at all are doomed to have a pyro flank them. A pyro spotted from a distance can't do much without skill.

  • Except use the flaregun!

  • W+m1 never works vs soldier or demo

    Or medic :o

  • Yeah, it's the same reason people hate spies and snipers. The victim only sees the "simple" end result. With snipers, it seems all they did was camp because the victim never saw what went into the aiming and shot. With spies, all you see is the backstab, which appears cheap, but you never saw how long it took the spy to set that up. With pyros, all you get is someone in your face throwing fire, but you never see the tactics he used to get there without dying.

  • holy shit, there are people out there who DO understand? :O

  • In every other case, he just kills from people unaware, which any class can profit from, It's just that the pyro specializes in it.

  • puppetmaster he just explained it..... your the moron

  • serious ownage right there! ive deflected 4 crockets when a soldier got kritzed but that was cool! nice job

  • @Antonio

Only people who say this are either 1: Those who can't learn to keep a pyro away from them, or 2: those who get pissed off because everybody else is better than them at pyro.

Also, It's kind of ironic that you used that 'w+m1' argument, seeing how the main point of this video was an extremely skilled RIGHT click.

  • Good reflects are hard to come by, honestly, the only time I'm killed by a pyro is when I turn a corner one is behind. Even then, if I move quickly I can usually escape. Soldier is still a good class to use against the pyro, because in general people aren't good at reflecting, or they have the backburner. As for other classes, the heavy has enough health to survive it usually, engineer hides by sentry, and everybody else can run away. The only big thing a pyro can counter well is the demoman.

  • Cool shot.

  • Wow, nice. Except the fact that you are spectating = not you. O/O

  • ok how kmany times do i have to say this, it is me. it was a recorded scrim with sourcetv, and thats me, my voice, my reflect.

  • Nice. Pretty stylish way to win a match, in my opinion!

  • rofl, u think thats not me ok. have u ever heard of source tv you stupid dumb fuk, i guess not.

  • @puppetmassster hey pussymassster its was on source tv

  • hey dude hw was in mid air and why dont you flame im and use the alt fire to get him to GTFO?

  • Haha think I've seen you play before Mars, my game name is The Moth. Lol I must say that that shot was pretty damn awesome, would have loved to hear what the team said, and you, when you did that lol.
