Bin Laden pulled a great tactic during the Soviet invasion of Afganistan: he kept provoking the Russians and keeping them locked in a war neither side could really win until Russia's resources were depleted; that was a factor in the fall of the Soviet Union. If we continue with McCain's policies, Al Qaeda will be a lot closer in its goal to destroying America.
