  • there is nothin wrong with cutting them like that< ur betta cutting them lower down coz theres more control and its betta than leaving high stumps so read up before u critasise a gd lads work!

  • @amyj1 Thanks, that means alot after reading the abuse some trolls give you on Youtube

  • @amyj1 only going to critisise your helper not wearing a hardhat

  • Nothing wrong with cutting those trees at the bottom. Those trees are tiny. There's also nothing wrong with a Husq either. The only thing Stihl has over it is power but who needs it on these tiny ass trees.

  • nice to see a pro for once... aylesbury is swarmmed with rouges

  • not bad, pretty good actually, but yea personally I wouldnt have felled the tree like that, you didnt leave a lot of wood to play with lol

  • Comment removed

  • I'm wearing mesh goggles that have been passed by an NPTC assessor. The helmet is a Petzl bought from Buxtons & it has ear defenders attached. The trousers are Stihl all round protection. I wasn't cross cutting fully as they were small trees & we could drag more by keeping more b ranches attached.

  • looked ok to me mate.. he used the right cutting techneques.. thats how all the tree surgons do it here in uk... he has correct equipment and a pro saw.. are you even in this trade? if u r u should defo get some more experience

  • there isnt much wrong with this! I wouldnt personaly put that sort of cut in but nothing went wrong ... there isnt anything wrong with this bloke he has correct PPE and has put a succseful cut in. And from what I can see has good cross cuttinh tequniques... like I said not my cut but his choice...

  • alot of bending over

  • Ahhh! Good old leylandii! The tree surgeons bread and butter!

  • Groundmen love that chainsaw. Drag brush!

  • nice chopping watch the soil

  • I was using my 14" stihl Ms200 (not the tophandle) for most of the felling. It was the end of the day & couldnt be arsed to sharpen it so used my 357xp. As jobs go it wasn't v.special some of my the other vids were better jobs.

  • Kill all landii's.....theyre scum of the plant world

  • Why didn't you high stump them and then slick them off at ground level? Seems like you wasted alot of time putting in low face cuts. PS. Get a stihl.

  • My arse twitched abit when the big lad pushing the tree over nearly wiped out some lights. The crowns were tangled up & i wanted max leverage we only used a pulling rope once. My usual small tree saw is my Stihl ms200(not the ms200t)

  • Could you not just of got a mog and winch with a 100m cable and direvted it round the gate to the first tree and then down the line of trees and at least dragged the trees to the gate and then cut them up and dragged them. Or better still employed a guy with a horse and arch to pull the trees up the factory length!

  • Too true! Thats why i'd bluntened my stihl ms200 & was using the Husky.

  • Why the tree must die :)?

  • For crimes against humanaTREE & TREEson.

  • because they are leylandii and they must all die!

  • I am a tree surgeon, who protects the hearing and heads of both myself and my crews. Please work safe !!

  • I'm the one doing the cutting(with ppe on) I am freelance and as such can only request & encourage not enforce. Thank you for your concern.

  • Small trees, plenty of room,EASY JOB !!

  • Yes! The felling was the easy part. But,If you saw part 3 the reason it says tree surgery job from hell was the brash drag. And before you ask we couldn't get permission to drop the wire fence & get a chipper in the back. I'm sure if your a tree surgeon you'll understand that photos & vids give jobs no justice, you have to be there.

  • i'm gonna have to agree w/ treehat...

  • i have a husqvarna 455 rancher with a 16" and a 20" bar. its not a bad saw when it has a sharp chain on it.

  • husky 575?

  • Its a 357xp, don't know if you have the same models in the US. European & US models differ slightly I think. I don't get to work really big trees that often here in England(unlike the abundance of big trees in the US.)So I don't need a big powerful saw. I am a climber mainly, so use a stihl ms200t(in the tree), a stihl ms200 for little ground jobs & my 357xp for bigger stuff.

  • What are you using the stick for?

  • If you stick it in the 'mouth cut' before you do your 'back cut', then you can look round the back of the tree & see the 'stick' & stop cutting before you cut through your 'hinge'. Just something a forester showed me on a course once. I only use it when I want my felling dead on target.

  • little trees but good

  • Thanks

  • fast limbing. what was that? a scottspine?

  • Thanks.Leylandii.(The old money tree as i call it.) 1st time i'd filmed myself, was abit of a practice shooting for Youtube. Was speeding abit in front of camera, will slow down nxt time I film some treework.

  • They're only little trees until they land on ya!
