  • Isteni! Valahol itt kezdődik a LÓ és EMBER kapcsolata.

  • im a horse owner and im guessing hes an arabian . what a nice horse you have and i like the video

  • What is the draw weight on the bow you are using here? Love what you do. Ollie

  • @spottedhorse7 the bow is a Korean bow and is 40# draw weight. And Thanks! I do too!

  • @TheFlyingDutchess Do you know anyone in socal who does mounted archery? I am getting into it on my own

  • @spottedhorse7 I am near the los angeles equestrian center

  • Lovely!

  • beautiful, she is a very sensitive girl. My gelding will ride like this, but he can be a jerk sometimes and get excited and put his head down and bouce as if bucking. lol he also steers off touching the neck. It takes alot of work. good job

  • Hi! I was wondering what kind of bow you are using? I ride, and just got into archery, I'd love to be able to combine the two... I just bought a "horsebow", 50"recurve....

Beautiful video and an inspiration!! Thank you !

  • @soizic1104 Thank you! The bow is a Korean horse bow with a 40# draw weight.

  • one day my rescue will do that. I've only had her 6months and I can ride her in just a rope around her neck only in a walk but were working on it :) love what your doing any tips for when I take the rope off?

  • I'm in love.

  • This is amazing I would like to be you in the future

  • Probably the horse besides being meek, is also used to the archery way and pace, taking out the reins was the next step.

  • The Horseback Archer with a Recurved Composite Bow was one of the deadliest and most mobile projectile forces in the pre-modern era.

  • 2 things, 1 you have a beautiful Arabian, and 2 my old horses you could walk up to them in the pasture no bridle, no sadle, no halter nothing, and just jump on them barebark and ride them, i can turn my self around in full gallop and ride back wards bareback, we call it around the world run :) and I can run up behind all of them and jump bare foot over the rear on to there back, it took a little confidence boost before I tried but now I do it all the time, even with my friends Stallion :)

  • You look amazing. I have been working on my seat, but it's harder then it looks. I'm really impressed, there are few people I know who would even dare to ride like that! Good Job!!!!

  • wow wow wow! I would fall off just swinging my arms around let alone shooting a real bow and arrow at targets (and hitting them). Good work

  • @iloveandhugemyhorse Jeez, I would give up my guy for a chance to be lucky enough to own horses and have some land adjoined to my house to keep them!

  • GORGEOUS ARABIAN!!! Good seat!

  • THATS PRETTY COOL!!! WHAT A PRETTY HORSE...I LOVE HORSES..YOU ARE SO LUCKY!!!

  • beautiful

  • wow u r so talented and ur horse is GORGEOUS!!!!

  • this is the kind of riding i wanna do but i dont have a horse to do that with :(

  • no helmet, no safety...

  • this kicks ass. definitely one-ups me and Monty :)

  • You have talent!!

  • you are anazing i have horse but not like that

  • i love this :) im starting the training with my horse so we can ride like u

  • Let me try that again...very nice...relaxing...I would love to ride like this...

  • I have nothing to say but...very nice.

  • And NO breeches

  • hey Katie! i just started doing my horse without a bridle, but she seems to not turn well or whoa or back up! do u have any tips on how i can teach her tht stuff?

  • @Lizzie21LuvsSOS21 Well first I teach my horses to go, turn, and stop by use of my legs and seat with the tack on :P then eventually take the tack off when I can ride around without having to pick up the reins.

  • Thats really cool! I hope i can do that one day !

  • What a BEAUTIFUL , MAGICAL horse !!!…. Very nice video ….. I LOVE riding horses this way I have my whole life along with horseback archery !!!!! *frowns* unfortunately I got my arm broken when I was 11 my arrow slipped from my hand and I reached for it without thinking a VERY painful mistake ….

  • That's amazing!

Training without sticks let the horse calm when he sees the arrow...

I'm training kyuba with my friend and our problem is that.

Thanks for the video, gonna find a fearless horse now....

  • Fabulous!

  • I saw you when TV here was doing a re-run of an old Mythbusters episode. My wife turned to me (we're both avid horseback riders but I've ridden longer than her) and said "that looks like something for you" - she must have seen the glint in my eyes. :D Now I'm trying to find a place somewhere near Melbourne, Australia.

  • You are fantastic!

    It's beatiful...

  • Beautiful

  • Looks like something out of Lord of the Rings?

  • Comment removed

  • GREAT! It really shows too Katie! Well done!

  • I love this song... was blasting it in my car earlier! This is real riding!! So cool!

  • Wow...truly inspiring!!! Please share with me how you taught your horse to do the bridleless riding? Please!!

  • absolutely beautiful

  • Wonderful Katie! This is true happiness!! beautiful how you are one with your sweet horse! Love your video!

  • Katie, this is beautiful! I'm interested in how you transferred Jebe over to bridleless riding. With a lot of bridleless riding, I can see the remnants of the "stick in eye" cues for turning, but Jebe seems to be really attending to your natural shifts in weight and focus.

  • @windhorsesue Hi! I never used a "stick" in his training. All of my horses are trained to be sensitive to leg and rein aids. I went from a bridle, to a rope around his neck, to nothing. Often in the video you can see me touching his neck when we turn, I do that instead of a stick in the eye or a rope around his neck.

  • @TheFlyingDutchess Hello! i think this video is just amazing and you are obviously a truly great rider! please tell me how do you get your horse to go from walking trotting and cantering with no tack or anything??? I want nothing more but to be as good as you in the future:) i am only a beginner right now but we are going to get a horse in the near future and i want to teach my horse like how you taught yours cause i LOVE bareback and wish to ride like you^_^ i also do archery as well:) thanks!!

  • A stunningly amazing video, such beautiful harmony. Look up Nikki Wulfe on Face book, she owns Jebe's lookalike in South Africa!!

  • So beautifull ! It's something I'm planing to work with my horse. I been dreaming about this for at least 5 years...I take my first step into it this summer by buying my first bow and taking lesson in fall. I hope to get as much harmony with my bow & horse as you do on a long run. Thx for the video :)

  • Is there a "LOVE" button? This is so awesome and beautiful!!!!

  • Very good job !

  • wow.. dreamteam du hast dein pferd echt unter kontrolle! super

  • you guys look like something out of a fairytale...this is truly one of the coolest things I have every seen!

  • very cool

my boys will be working on this stuff

  • yes, if you can make another video pls.

  • Inspiring! I wish we had a mounted archery presence here in Texas but alas, all horses and no horse archers. What bow are you shooting? It looks like horn on the belly w/ static siyahs and the shape reminds me of a Turkish or Crimean-Tatar style or maybe a Hwarang (Gold lettering on the horn underneath the handle looked like it could be Asian characters). What poundage?

  • @JXW97 There is a man in Texas practicing named Trey. I can put you in contact with him if you want. The bow in this video is a Korean bow. it is 40-45 #s.

  • awesome, can you stand on bareback,

  • @sharmagagan696 I can ride is horse bareback while standing up. Is that what you mean?

  • Thanks everyone =^.^=

  • Amazing job, specially with that riding. Greetings!

  • Thats the way i like to ride...

    Great Video..!

    Greetings from Montana usa...

  • @CombatArchery Where in Montana are you? I also live in MT! I'm just starting to get into mounted archery. :-)

  • This is the most beautiful, inspirational and moving video!! Katie you are such a gift!!
