I took a visit this evening out of curiosity. These houses look so pretty. So different from what I see on TV.

It does look very different now...then again that show is almost 40 years old now, so it's to be expected I guess.

I used to live a few blocks from the Brady Bunch house and nowadays it doesn't look anything like the house you see on TV either.

The British show that All in the Family was based off was actually called "Til Death Us Do Part". "Cosby" was based off "One Foot in the Grave"

Why was the house painted blue?

I don't remember the house ever being referred to as a single unit house on the show.

@needles1987 It looks like they had vinyl siding installed. A lot of people had their houses redone with that in the 80s and 90s.
