Raw scans are usually gray and very bad quality, right? How do you fix that?

Only if your scanner is poor quality and the paper is gray, cheap 3rd world paper.

how did u erase the sfx over the bag where the screen tones are?

did u make a pattern and go over it?

I just use the Clone stamp tool to make a copy of part of the screen tone and then color over that sfx to make it look like it wasn't there.

Yeah. a raw scans editor cleans and add the english text on the manga. Although cleaning takes a loooong time. But it's fun n.n
