@Scaraphobic hey man. i really tried to learn all of my scales. theory will help you out a lot with them. all major, minor, modes, and lots of jazz scales. get to know them like you know how to open a door. you just dont think about it! :)
@tankbrute6 yea the hr deluxe is really clean which is nice, but the gain channel i dont really care for too much. i just ordered a (i know i know) line6 spider valve 212. i havent been playing guitar but a little over a year and right now i think it will do ok until i get better.
@tankbrute6 Yes, I know what you mean, I use to have that amp. I loved the clean channel and reverb while I had it, but I needed something more rock oriented and not as large. Even though the bottom end gets too loose at higher volumes, there is nothing like cranking the clean channel of a fender for some warm overdriven tones. Cheers!
Hope you read this comment, you are a truly good person. You even video tape in your guitar to entertain us with your bagel shop trips etc. But anyway thank you so much for putting in these lessons when you have such limited time

Are you using the Deville amp on this demo? It sounds pretty sweet. I have a hotrod deluxe with extension cab and i dont think it sounds this good.

@rwbrdms1 yeahhh the deville. its an ok amp, i bet your settup sounds clearerr this thing always throws a wet towel over its face when i crank it.

@CollyStrings thanks man!! this amp is good at low volumes, but it seems to sagg the bottom end at higher volumes.
