welcome. there's phobias for basically anything that one can think of. all are equally irrational, of course, but none-the-less equally devastating ... usual treatment is graduated exposure and systematic desensitisation, which is basically classically reconditioning the person to now fear the object. that way, it is thought, the behaviour that feeds the phobia is extinguished and and the emotional response undergoes non-reinforcement. kinda makes sense really.
