  • another small s**t that costs a fortune...

  • DESIGN FULL SHIT "r a n g e" hahahahah shit.

  • suzuki-kawasaki fuck

  • its 0:28

  • remember me the shape of the Elipson speakers ^^ but not the same finish or sonic quality ^^.

  • (facepalm) He killed the whole idea of perfect round shape by..putting them in tube..god this isn`t happening. I throught Japanese were smart, obviously not all of them.

  • It looks like an Aperture Science Personality Sphere

  • and people who are uneducated about sound and electronics, buy this stuff..so sad.

  • can't wait till they blow!

  • huge pile of shit.

  • the jakalakalama wear ? ? what tha fuck?

  • build quality is terrible . Finished item is poor

  • tuma na boody nah cah na tah

    what the fuck

i didnt know rather to watch the video while listening to to this babble shit or read the captions and not even watch what i clicked on to watch

  • Wow.... that's over $1,200 AUD.

That's an expensive bit of wood turning.

  • take a coconut, do speakers in it.

and you have nicer speakers than these

    ^^

  • wooden iMac speakers

  • won't beat my klipsch system by a long shot

  • huge pile of shit...

  • Now you can listen as you make your fireplace hotter!

  • arh wtf is this , get X-MINI , not that

  • 0:00

  • Did she just say 105,000 Y ????!!!!!!!! OMG How much is that in US DOllar?

  • @gfhnk I've never understood why that don't just issue a 1000 Y note, give it a new name (KYen or something like that) and name all prices in terms of it. It would save a lot of time spent entering and writing zeros. Anyway, "feeling of warmth" aside, it would have been more interesting if we had gotten a chance to hear how a 1" full-range speaker sounds.

  • Nice, cute little speakers for a notebook PC. BUT, for him to say these are "high performance" speakers is a joke! You need larger, conventional speakers (as found in a true high end system) to get full range sound and true bass down to 30HZ or so.

  • @AudiophileTubes Once upon a time, Radio Shack had some kick ass little speakers called Minimus 7. I would hook them up and sit them on top of my big speakers, which weren't hooked up, and time after time, people would swear the big speakers were making all that sound.

  • @TheMrBlinx I had those. Nice little units.

  • no fucking way - $1200+ USD? bose, step aside.

  • @cabasse

The reason is the craft used to make them...

  • @douro20 i can appreciate that to some extent, but i buy speakers to listen to primarily, and a $12 1" tang-band driver (W1-1070SE - while a little better than mediocre) doesn't cut it for me, especially not when i'm paying 1000x markup

  • ROFL at his description, "incredibly high performance speakers". These are cheap-ass Tang Band W1-1070SE's. $13.00 @ PartsExpress. Manufacturer's Spec's - Freq. Resp. = 170 Hz - 20 KHz, SPL = 81 dB @ 1/1M, Max. Cont. Input = 4W. You'd need four of these per side to get them to handle the 10W they need for living room listening levels and you'd need mid's and woofer's to give you ACTUAL full range ( 50 Hz - 16 KHz) reproduction.

    Overpriced wooden junk i think.

  • I find it difficult to believe these would beat a bookshelf speaker of the same price. One with a decent sized woofer for listening to anyone how doesn't just have a mid-high voice. Biggest mistake, 1 speaker can't do everything. That is a hopeless 1" speaker, it will barely do mids and just do highs. But lows, there is no way. There is a reason we have 2-way, 3-way speakers etc. It is the size of a tweeter! High performance, what garbage. Where will the heat go?

    George

  • Those look like what the older round plastic speakers that Apple Computer bundled with some systems want to be when they grow up.

  • $1100?!

  • how much does is cost in usd and also you should have had a demo of the speakers sound

  • Higher fidelity does not always produce the best results...there IS something substantial to be said for thin resonant wooden cabinets(pine for example) and alnico magnet drivers, especially together.

  • ahh yes, you know how good a speaker looks effects its overall sound...nah, bose already did it..........

  • @kwyjibosponge bose is bullshit, you could build 2x the speakers for 1/4 the cost.

  • its nice but organic has nothing to doo with sound quality of a speaker.

the ideal speaker enclosure is stiff and wen that is done properly it doe'sn

    mather what material is used.

i think its an psygological reason: many audiophiles tink wood=natural and the speaker then always sound good...that's in fact not a wed of nature.

with music intruments its a different story...because then the cabinet must fibrate and make sound...thats not you wan't in a speaker.i will only hear the music..no cabi.

  • i bet audiophiles everywhere are raging sooo hard, these sucks

  • LOL very cheap 1 inch TB speakers in the worst possible enclosure (a cylinder). Well worth money... or not!

  • i dont hear this product ...please ... music ..i wait

  • nice

  • It are HiVi B2S speakers (10~15usd/peice).

    105.000 Yen = 1,109 USD or 822 EUR.

    Expensive wood .....

  • If you write Nike on it, you could play soccer with it!

  • fucking overpriced shitters cheepass tangbang spkrs

  • tang band makes nice drivers for the price, stfu. and these are cheap $1 1" drivers. not made by TB.

  • @MagicalMrSkylar nope ur wrong. it costs more than 1 dollar to even make these drivers, making absolutely no profit.

  • They look like 15 dollar tang band drivers.

  • 山中

  • I think they could put a bigger speaker in that. It seems like the ones on those ipod boom boxes, possibly a more expensive version. I expect these speakers to sound good, but not go especially loud. It says 'full range' (I'm betting 150Hz to 14kHz not sure about dropoff rate) though I'm sure a subwoofer would be needed to get the best out of them

  • Wow!!! Fantastic!

  • A good speaker for those having more money than brains.

The joinery is overkill as is the finish which is called urushi.

Many people will have an allergic reaction to it.

Keyaki wood is poor & expensive choice for a speaker enclosure!!!

Try MDF. The speakers will sound much better.

Use keyaki veneer & carnauba wax for the outer shell

It's just a poor audio copy of a Bose 501Z. It's a shame that they are so over-priced and the maker didn't do his homework on sound quality.

  • frikin jews who would buy that!!! seriously!!! i bought 2 of those speakers for 10 bucks welll the speaker and they suck welll kinda cool but really?

  • nope wrong its yen not dollers its 150 $ american

  • I would never pay $1150 for that. I'd get a whole home theater system with speakers that actually have a full sound

  • Full range? YEAH RIGHT!? I really hate thus anti-audiophilia...

  • Comment removed

  • Its like $1,100 usd

  • my new CARDBOARD speaker would kick those things balls to the moon lol....

  • You have ABSOLUTELY no idea what you are talking about. U think throwing a speaker in a box not designed for a speaker will make it sound good. Well lemme tell ya something. These guys DID NOT just take a sphere and put the speaker in there. They did mathematical speaker building terms, using the speakers Xmax, QMS Vas and all the other specs, and used those to create an enclosure. Enclosures are made specifically to the drivers specs

  • they are nice. but i like function.

  • my cardboard speaker will beat this lol

  • that crap isnt worth 1000$ !

i dont get what is co speacial on that crap!

this is like the drivers of 15$ ipod speaker in a wooden box :P

  • No, it is not the price of the driver. It is the designing for the sound acoustics. To make a tiny speaker like this sound very good, they need to spend money to find the right design. By the way it looks, the people wanted to make a small speaker that looks good, and sounds good. It looks like it acheivs both. Also, alot of the speakers that are 1000 dollars, the actual driver is only 90 dollars, while the design for acoustics is 1000.

  • yeah i sayd a better ipod driver IN A WOODEN BOX

90 bucks are 2 much anyway

  • dude no.that means nothing.1inch speakers like this cant make a lot of bass.and if this cabinet would make them sound better,i still wont pay 1000 bucks for it.cuz i can use better drivers and a cheap ass cardboard box.

it is still not so expensive and sounds better.

  • Wow. 1000 bucks. I didn't realize. But what u don't know is how an enclosure can make a speaker sound so much better. A cardboard box wont sound better, and will not resonate the frequencies these can. Listen, you dont know what you are talking about. I have read the book "speaker building 201" a book that explains collage level stuff they use in audio school. I know that these sound MUCH better then a cardboard box. Putting little speakers in a cardboard box would sound nowhere as good as these

  • an encloser would make a shity speaker sound much better.but when you use a good driver in a cheap ass box,it still willl sound better.

  • Alright, listen. I know MUUUCH more about audio then you, and my dad is an audio engineer. He has produced his own studio speaker (doesn't sell it) and it sounds very nice. He has taught me most of what he knows, and I read a COLLAGE LEVEL speaker building 201 book. Putting a better speaker in a cardboard box would NOT sound as good. You have no idea what your talking about, and you need to put spaces between commas and periods. XD

  • You don't even know how to spell college......... how ironic

  • Hey, no need to be so rude man. You realize its youtube, and you understood what I was getting at. I type fast and sometimes mispell, but I am not perfect, and neither are you.

  • Oh, and here is another thing you have no clue what u are talking about. These speakers are only 15 bucks. -_-

  • no they aint

  • @masterwolf1212 "looks like it acheivs both" ??? I think you're right, it's designed to look as if it sounds good. If it actually sounded good, we'd hear it playing in the video.

PS: I don't think too many "mathematical speaker building terms" could have gone into the design of these. The enclosure is simply a cylinder a little bigger than the size of the driver, and just long enough to fit inside of those cool looking spheres.

  • @lrd9999 Have you heard one?! No. Neither have I but I'm sure they did something laugh out louderdoodle

  • @masterwolf1212 Well, if you're inclined to shell our $1100 to hear them I'll be anxious to hear your take on them. Meanwhile, I'll keep my headphones and boring speakers from Bose and CSW.

  • @lrd9999 lol, I really dont give a shit what you guys do. They might be good, might not, Who the fuck cares. If you dont want to buy them, don't, you play with your little overpriced bose, we'll all be happy. Don't go around tellin me what your gonna do, I dont give a shit. Goodday everyone! :D

  • $1000 is a small price to pay for a speaker that doubles as a magic 8 ball! oh and they said 1000 yen.. which is probably WAY more that $1000 USD

  • They said 1,500 Japanese Yen... That is only about 16 dollars in U.S. Currency.

  • they said 105,000

  • The yen is roughyl 1/100th of a USD.

  • That's weird that their money works that way.. It'd be like McDonald's having a "100 penny menu" instead of a "Dollar Menu" :p They should say the speakers are 1.5 KiloYen or something :)

  • It's like me saying, I bought a sandwich today for 179000 millipence

  • haha.. The Japanese are super smart but I guess they don't use decimals in their money like we do.. They could say 1.50 KiloYen. ;-P

  • I don't think the japanese would need decimals in their currency unless they were buying individual grains of sugar or rice or something.

  • they look like Apple Inc.'s computer speakers

  • bnfljock, so the ghost murdered someone? wtf? I thought ghosts haunt... and then the dead guy and the ghost teamed up againts kids? I say: Epic Noobs

  • Confucius say man who go to sleep with itchy bum wake up with smelly finger :)

  • haha

  • @brandon9271 Aws don't know much 'bout that "confusion" cat, missta-chan.

  • @dragonparty2 Fail, Itchi ban.

  • @dragonparty2 Dude, shut the fuck up.

  • @dragonparty2 ....he said "ichi ban" ... meaning firstly or most importantly roughly

  • @dragonparty2 You should try washing those ears from time to time... ichiban is not itchy bum. Also, when you're washing your ears, wash your bum too.

  • @dragonparty2 He says ichi ban idiot! It means 'number one', 'favourite' or 'best' in Japanese. Grow up.

  • sorry but i don't get it what is so special about it ?
