re: transtranstrans - See, that's why I wasn't sure if I should pursue that topic in the cafe! Like I said, I'm just quite new to it and wanting to read/ talk it all the time... but I love the arts, oh hell yes, I love talking any media of art. I consider artistic works, any type, my only real hobby. I guess gender studies is second now, hah.

Carson, I really appreciate what you shared here....as to mothers, my mom will probably never be a big fan of Ethan...but I don't know that she was ever a big fan of me, period. I'm up against the same "religious" obstacles as you in terms of family....while I'd love to have a relationship with my mom, I've only experienced one that is more frequently painful than positive. And....ugh....my process is just beginning in terms of physical transition...so let the games begin, huh? Thanks again -
