Please direct a light on the hair that you are cutting, because those of us viewing cannot really see what you are doing, or the basic area of the head you are working on. You have to consider the light coming through the window that makes the area you are working on without enough light!

To the one that recommended professional shears on a "weave" SHAME on you! No way in the world should anyone use their professional shears on tracked hair. If anything, a razor cut or even notching with a sharp pair of shears but not the same shears I would use on a client's natural texture. THATS just a NO!....we all have different ways but end up at the same ending...

I just watched your video. Not a bad end result. But from one professional to another, I would HIGHLY recommend that you invest in a pair of professional cutting shears. You'll see and feel (not to mention HEAR) the difference. The pair you used in the video are for barbering, I believe. Certainly not for this type of cutting. Also, if you cut smaller subsections, it wouldn't look so choppy. Layer cuts (especially the bob cut you did) should be well-blended and clean.

@jazzyddrummagurl Oh course not, i have layers and i dont have a bob. Just like the bob there will be just volume in your hair but not necessarily a bob. People get layers sometimes to make their hair look fuller.
