Know what works well with him? The side guns from a G1 Combaticon Vortex, or any of his subsequent reissues. They fit over the Minicon pegs perfectly.

Id love to see this re-issued with the battle damage remolded off

I agree man..great play value..This figure rocks and lked it since day one..and this paint scheme is great.I call my regular energon starscream.."darkscream"..yeah so original I know..lol Great review and coverage on the figure man. I have Energon Starscream (The first version release) and i'm missing his missiles but for a toy i bought back in 2004 when i started collecting, Great figure, kinda irratates me on how the arms pop off.

Now i want the G1 Deco version of this mold.

I really like the look if this mold. It's a shame that we never got a Thundercracker or Skywarp repaint, or else it would've made the mold so much better.

great review. 1 forgotten feature was the weapons could combine into a giant gun. it uses the handle on the sword.

@ni6887 Thanks. I photographed that - plus the large hole on his back acting as combined weapon storage, but it didn't find it's way into my yammering. My photos aren't amazing by any means but I'm thinking I might start putting the unused ones on my blog as supplementals whenever I get videos up, I always have a few things left over.
