  • reguarding sonic cd, did you use the jap/brit/xbla version of stardust speedway or the US version?

  • Why is stardust speedway bad future do one with good future

  • ITS MASTER SYSTEM YOU LITTLE TWAT!

  • which ones are which on the download?

  • @blooboy4747 Theyre all there and theres more download the lot like im doing

  • @Snivy931 but which one's which?

  • MP3 or WAV?

  • SA2/SA2B had the best 3D steering when you had to change direction or had to turn around. why dont seg use that agian and make a good story that takes place after SA2 that would be SA3. with sonic, shadow, tails, eggman, knuckles and rouge as playable characters.

  • @tyson391 I feel like if Sega did that, they'd ruin it. A series can only be so good to a certain point. I'd rather them leave SA and SA2 alone, and great, than to try and make a shitty third game.

  • 3:18 - 3:50 THATS WHAT SONIC POKECT ADENTURES BOSS THEME SHOULD OF SOUNDED LIKE

  • Sounds AWESOME! though some bugged me.

    Marble Zone sounds too cluttered

Angel Island Zone's pic is... rubbish

Sonic 3 Boss' pic shows GHZ's boss and GHZ badniks

    MHZ's pic isn't sonic related

Stardust Speedway's pic has debug on (i think)

The music was awesome, the choice of pics could've been better.

  • @MattiFS its a hill with mushrooms on it. its supposed to b a joke

  • Lol at the "mushroom hill" xD

  • this is sick! check out mine if you'd like, it's all acoustic

  • Call me crazy... but i prefer them inn 16-bit

  • @lloydSSJ4 Why would you be crazy? Everyone prefers them 16-bit, that is how they were meant to be heard. It is better quality too. Although in this medley the creator pretty much remade the Sonic 2 final boss theme because he made it more echoey. You can't compare that to the real version.

  • I think you're awesome for crediting the original MIDI authors whose work you used. Most people here on youtube don't :D

  • no chemical or hydro?

  • 8 BIT REMIXES ROCK!!!! XD

  • Which Stardust Speedway is it?

  • @SubconsciousAlive Bad future.

  • 7:13 FTW!!

This is my favorite BGM in Sonic CD, and... u got the AMERICAN VERSION!! :D I love this one! This is awesome!

  • awesome!

  • I really like the Sonic 2 final boss pic and music is awesome. It's like Sonic 2 HD.

  • Cool!

  • my favorite is the sonic 2 final boss

  • gxscc, as you use it ,doesnt sound 8 bit. the way i use it it does.

  • It seems more like a normal remix than an 8-bit one.

  • I could be deaf and still like this. The pictures are great. Especially the Carnival one and the mushroom hill one.

  • Thanks! ^^ I spent a very long time trying to find interesting pictures for each. Mushroom Hill was hard...there were no interesting screenshots online of that zone from S&K, so, being completely out of ideas, I just grabbed a picture of mushrooms on a hill... XD

  • the sonic 3 invincibility at the end it my favorite :D

  • Nicely done, and I believe the smiley you were looking for at the end is: ^_~

  • GSXCC =/= 8-BIT

  • I love the picture in the carnival night...too true. I had that tails for that.

  • I love the Sonic 3 invincibility theme at the end ^^

  • Sounds interesting...It never ceases to amaze me how well some tracks translate to the old school 8bit sound. Loving it, 5 stars!

  • Just sounds like they removed some parts of the original 16-bit version.

  • Damn right, doesn't sound too great either :/.

  • What song was the "Vs Gun mech" one from? Sounds good.

  • I got it from Sonic Adventure 2 Battle, for the Gamecube, though it's probably also in SA2 for the Dreamcast. It's a boss fight song.

  • Which boss? I went and check a few FAQs on GameFAQs, there was no boss called "Gun Mech"

  • You vs. the boss as sonic on a highway level.

    I think...

  • Big Foot, Hot Shot & Flying dog Are the mechs names

  • @charemthecharmeleon LOL! You arn't a real Sonic fan if you don't own Sonic Adventure 2 on the Dreamcast.

  • This is freaking awesome! I love 8-bit remix's.

It's a shame there is no Ice cap or Lava Reef :P

  • can you do azure lake too

  • can you remix a certain Megaman song :3

  • Which one? :3

  • Wonderful music. Thanks for posting.

  • You're welcome, and thanks. ^^

  • I have to agree with you on that. The Marble Zone music was the best!

  • I like the Marble Zone one :)

  • Wow....these are amazing! Btw, that is Mushroom Hill act 2 :) Although I prefer the JP/EUR Sonic CD music, you made Stardust Speedway sound better than the original! You MUST do other Sonic mixes!!!

  • I was worried that my Stardust Speedway was a little too busy, but I'm glad you liked it. =P

  • Can you do an 8-bit remix of the Special Stage music from Sonic 3?

  • what'd you use to make these?

  • Read the video description and you'll find out. |3

  • What is Tails saying at 4:06? I can't read it.

  • I can't remember exactly, but I think it was "Jump up and down and completely mess up what you're trying to do?"

  • All the Sonic songs in this medley were great because they were memorable.

  • V. true

  • sonic 3 - boss was my favorite, and i love the picture :D

  • awsome! 10/5!!!

  • gxscc=/=8 bit

  • someone needs to do the final boss for sonic 3. but anyway, nice video!

  • Marble Zone didn't sound as good

    S&K: MHZA2 sounds really good

    Overall, they're awesome!

  • Thanks!

  • Am I the only person in the world who thinks the American Sonic CD has a better soundtrack than the Japanese one? I like how you chose to do the American version of Stardust Speedway.

  • awsome before i saw this i made a 8-bit sonic sprite by scratch this music should help for a new game

  • ...That would be Mushroom Hill, Act 2.

    Nice mix, anyway.

  • Oops, that's right. X3

  • Carnival Night FTW!

  • The percussion was a lot of fun on that one. ^.^

  • holy sh** this is amazing 5/5

  • Thanks! ^^

  • but dont'cha think it's kind of interessting to see how well or not well the songs would work as 8bit? like you I think most of them failed, but it's a good job and I like this vid ^^

  • I appreciate the kinder comment...too bad they didn't turn out as good as you hoped, but I'm glad you still enjoyed them. ^^

  • I'm glad your not angry or something like that ^^ I know it's hard to do something like that, but don't stop training =) I want to see what you do in the future =]

  • When you load the songs on GASHISOFT how do you save it?

  • After loading the songs on GASHISOFT, simply hit the 'Authoring' button at the top and the song will be saved as a .wav file in the same directory as GASHISOFT. =3

    Make sure the music isn't playing when you hit the Authoring button, as this tends to screw everything up. ^^;

    Hope that helps!

  • Thank you!

  • What software did you use to make them 8-bit?

  • Read the video description for your answer. |3

  • THAT WAS TIGHT!!

  • Thx!
