  • . . . E.T. Bell's "The Development of Mathematics."

It's just a little disappointing that The Mechanical Universe is still the best technical video of physics. It would be nice to see them put their work in video form. Doing the math could be pretty hard. But, they should be able to best the Mechanical Universe. Come on Crease and Mann!

  • i've been wondering why Crease and Mann havn't done a video documentary of cosmology/theory of everything which they wrote in "The Second Creation." I grew up with that book. I've looked around, and it just seems that outside of that book and Steven Weinberg's "The First Three Minutes" are still not really surpased. Maybe the theory has developed here and there(inflationary theory); but, on the whole, in terms of physics, those two are still the best. In terms of mathematics, there's . . .

  • Math is much more than just numbers , 1 + 1 can only equal 2 if you can bring them together =-)

    a 3 when you need a 2 can be 1 too many =-)

olny smrat poelpe can raed tihs

  • I love beauty, especially in mathematics and physics. And I like the fact that most formulas are still typeset in Donald Knuth's TeX.

  • he's my teacher!
