@Ayumuobsessed That was the ending of the first part (with the Jabberwocky in Alice's house). This is the ending of the second and final part of this legendary TV miniseries.
Thank you for posting... this ending is perfect to the tumultuous adventure in this incredibly produced miniseries. NBC had a penchant for producing high concept, well developed miniseries and movies of the week during this period, into the late 90's. Such a beautiful, bittersweet and warm fuzzy finale... the perfect fairy tale ending.
I wondered that too. Plus, I wondered why "the duchess", "the cook", "the caterpillar" "the chesire cat" "the gnat", and "the white king" were not here to say goodbye to Alice since all these other characters I mentioned including "tweedledee" and "tweedledum" have all gotten along well with Alice.
@er10b Yes that's true but, I just felt sad not seeing the other characters that they were not seen through the mirror to sing and say goodbye to Alice since they got along well with Alice. It felt like they were not interested in coming to the party after being invited by ignoring Alice. (Of course, the Queen Of Hearts came to the party even though she probably didn't like Alice since she really wanted Alice's head to be chopped off which the Queen mentioned at the jury trial).
I'm so glad that the white knight survived in holding off the Jabberwock while Alice makes her escape. It's almost sad that she admits she's grown up now, but it was the only way to stop the Jabberwock. She saved not only herself, but her friends in Wonderland who will never forget her. And she will never forget them. IT almost makes me wanna cry as they say goodbye to her.
Yes I'm glad "the white knight" didn't die either. (For a second it looked like the Jabberwocky was going to bite off his head before he got knocked out). Alice was lucky that she talked to the owl who told her that in order for the Jabberwocky to die, she has to stand up to it and act brave. Also I agree, it makes me want to cry too when they say goodbye to her through the mirror.
This ending, its so gentle and suttle for the ending of Alices adventure. It makes you wish it would never end and then that the valiant selfless white knight did not perish against that beast who had nothing but love for the little girl just kind of pushed it past the tear jerking point. Splended finish to this cute tail, will never forget it.-Games32
I remember when I saw this as a kid, being glad that you see the White Knight here, I was afraid that he had been killed fighting the Jabberwocky. I always thought it was cool that even though he was so old, he was the only one with enough guts to actually try to fight the beast, so it was nice to see here that he survived.
When they sing the "dreams can all come all true" line that reminds me of the closing line in the Muppet Babies theme song that says "dreams can come true".
I want the soundtrack also and I am a 31 yr old man!! My fave. songs are this one playing, I Hate Dogs and Cats, Off With Their Hands, Nonsense, all of them realy!
Normally I'd turn something like this off immediately, but I was stoned out of my head and "Alice in Wonderland" came on TV. Tripped balls watching this stuff, lol. That was over 20 years ago!
I wonder if the little girl ended up being a babe?? I thought she was a cute kid.
Please add more. The most people can get on here is me singing the songs without music. I'd love to see each musica number on here. Be sure to tag the actors/actresses in each clip if you do more clips.
It's kinda sad how Alice has to say goodbye to all these fantastic characters.
Natalie Gregory OWNED acting Alice.
Her portrayal set a standard that won't be matched again.

This "alice" was adorable. This comes to show how even children can help make a difference in adults.

Is this the true ending just wondering because the other ending shows Alice running back to her house and that's it...

Alice inspired the characters or actors to be better characters....and the characters inspired alice to be a better person.
It's like they are singing as themselves and not as the characters they played while wearing their characters costumes.
happy7117 1 year ago
I wonder if they were singing from their hearts with sincerity because they probably would never see Natalie Gregory(alice) again after filimg.

@afriendofbean These characters were the core ones, they held the story together like glue on a page.
