i just did. i cried soo bad when i see those kids running and shouting for the lives...and specially that baby...he was all burned up and his skins were peeling off. huhu i wish that baby the best and that girl too :'(

Granted its not as funny as Westmoreland's quote "life is cheap in the Orient" after all the scenes of greiving Vietnamese but its a close second.
What they don't mention in this movie is not only did they make the napalm more sticky and therefore deadly but they also added white phospherus into it that it would create fatal poisoning even if only the limbs burned.

You should see the South Vietnamese buried alive by NVA/VC. NVA wiped out 15,000 hamlets and villages in South Vietnam. NVA killed 5 million SVN civilians. Why not whine about that, an incident of an errant bomb is nothing compared to being buried alive or having your arms chopped off as a 5 year old child for selling warm soda to GI's. Instead of keeping your eye on the US maybe you should take a look at what we are fighting. what crimes we are saving people from. For that you have to read/

The fact is we wiped out the VC during the Tet offesnsive. The NVA had to fill the ranks of all VC battalions. It took the North a long time to recover from the ass kicking we gave them, After Tet the NVA avoided big unit battles with US troops becauswe they always lost. Westmoreland was a good commander but a lousy politician. US won every battle beat every offensive but the US military never got its successes writen up iwth any support, the press lied about the conflict and you believed it.

The Vietnamese military had some brilliant commanders and tacticians. If Vietnam had had all the same air power as the US, I wonder how much 'ass kicking' the US would have done then. Intelligent military commanders such as Lt. Gen. Harold G. Moore who co-wrote, 'We were soldiers once, And young' had a great respect for the Vietnamese soldiers and their leaders. I think I will go with his opinion as opposed to yours.

the tactics used by vietnam were very very good counter acting the americans massive fire power
and the americans spent over 50times that of the north
and tacticly westmoreland wanted big battles....they warnt going to do this
until tet (and then mini tet to keep power and influence over south
westmoreland should of done smaller engagements and adaped to the vc
the americans use defolients which still have an effect today with dioxin
