mockumentary? how did that classification justifies all the negative shitload in the movie? I can only defend the humor by thinking that its all fun and that a lot of people are not ignorant about Kazakhstan, racism, etc. But when it comes to a wider range of issues, the film has really pushed it much too far. Well I could say screw those who are too narrow to enjoy this film but I can't. I mean a lot of people's lives are still anchored in their culture and nationalism. Its just unfair..

Borat may have nothing to do with Romania personally, but it was not filmed in Kazakhstan- it was filmed in a Romanian village. Google it. It's a fact. Also, I took Russian in school and they are not speaking Russian. The maps and newspapers and things are in Cyrilliic, but thats about it.
