For some today they say the Locomotive andf trains were those peoples 747s of that time period. For me they were the STARSHIPS of that period! Compared to how long it would take to go by horse/wagon from the East Coast to the West took months if not yrs! With the train within a week! it is disgrace to what this Nation has done to the Railroads!
