what i dont understand about this film is that at the start it says dec.11.1998, but yet every1 in the film dresses like its the 60's, wtf???

@Rockafellaton In the DVD extra's it's revealed that Costume Designer Beatrix Aruna Pasztor was not quite clear about the time period the film was to be set in. Director Van Sant claimed that he want to reintroduce Hitchcock's style of film making to a younger audience (who might normally dismiss B&W films, simply because they are B&W). So, the fact that the film was supposed to be set in the 90's was lost (on B.A.P.) in the 'faithful recreation' of Hitchcocks's directing style.

Yeah good job in making this trailer for the 98 remake of Psycho. But the 1960 original directed by Sir Alfred Hitchcock was the best.
